We invite you to join us this Thursday (June 6) for the fourth HPF meeting in our series: “Justice and Economic Democracy”. Our presenter, Michael Greaney, is an expert in the topic of social justice. He has an extraordinary depth of knowledge in the perspective of the Catholic Church, a leading institutional proponent of social justice around the world for centuries.

This meeting follows a February HPF session led by Dr. Thomas Walsh titled “The Quest for Justice”. In that meeting Dr. Walsh presented Professor John Rawl’s highly influential “Theory of Justice.” Dr. Walsh will be the Respondent to Michael Greaney’s presentation.

The session will conclude with 30 minutes of feedback, comment and questions from meeting participants.

Presenter Michael Greaney, CPA Michael D.Greaney is volunteer Director of Research for the interfaith Center for Economic and Social Justice (CESJ) in Arlington, Virginia, USA. A Certified Public Accountant, he has audited profit and non-profit organizations throughout the world, including the American Red Cross, Georgetown University Medical Center, and the U.S. Federal Election Commission.

Mr. Greaney is co-author of The Greater Reset: Reclaiming Personal Sovereignty Under Natural Law (2022) from TAN Books. Other works include In Defense of Human Dignity (2008), So Much Generosity (2013), Easter Witness (2016), and Economic Personalism (2020, co-author), along with numerous articles on expanded ownership, money and credit, history, economics, and social development.
