As you know, September 18 is a big date in U.S. Unification history. Here are the major events that occurred on this date:
1959 David Kim, the first Unification missionary, arrived in the U.S.
1960 HSA-UWC was legally incorporated in the U.S.
1974 Father spoke at Madison Square Garden
1976 Father spoke at the Washington Monument Rally
Today, an important event is added to the list…
2020 The Higher Purpose Forum website is launched!
After one year of preparation, our website will launch at about 4 PM today. The website address is www,higherpurposeforum,org
The purpose of this website, as stated in our Year One Game Plan, is:
A) Develop an organization, communication platform(s), and content to effectively disseminate True Parent’s teachings on topics related to spiritual understanding (“Godism”) and/or public policy (“Headwing”) to the broad US public.
B) Through this effort, have a beneficial impact on people’s personal/spiritual life, the quality and content of public discourse, and the advance of God’s providence.
C) By way of attribution, extend and expand True Parent’s legacy and recognition.
If these purposes are important to you, we kindly ask that you support the launch of this website. Here is what you can do to help:
1) Visit the site, read a “Conversation Starter” and add to the conversation.
2) Visit the site and donate. Except for the Steering Committee, everyone involved with this project is compensated for their efforts. We need funds to continue from here.
3) Share the website address with family and friends.
This project is only in the formation stage. We will continue to improve the quality, appearance, and variety of our content. We thank you for your patience and support as we grow.
