Higher Purpose Forum: September Project Update and New Job Posting

Thank you for our continuing interest in Higher Purpose Forum.

We are planning a launch date of September 18th, a historic date for Unificationists! On that date, our new web site will be accessible to the public and we will start our campaign to drive traffic to the site. As you know, our purpose is to create a public platform for sharing and discussing the Unificationist perspective, as taught to us by our True Parents.

We appreciate your enthusiastic response from our August 1st email. As a result of that mailing, we have brought two new members onto our team:

We are now hoping to fill an important new position: Editorial Manager. We appreciate any help you can offer in this regard. Are you or someone you know interested and qualified for this position?

Primary Tasks Final copy editing Photo/Image research and selection

Secondary Tasks Setting up outbound links Content SEO (using Yoast) Category selection and content posting

The Editorial Manager will be a central member of our team and will be invited to all meetings of our Steering Committee. We estimate the time required will be 2-4 hours per week, to be compensated at an agreed upon hourly rate.

The tasks of copy editing and photo research require prior training/experience. The other task can be learned on the job. Training for this position will be provided by Cheryl Wetzstein. Cheryl is a member our Steering Committee. She was formerly Washington Times National Reporter and Special Sections Manager.
