An Update on Higher Purpose Forums

2020-08-02 · Source: tparents.org

We are pleased to update you regarding the progress of “Higher Purpose Forum” (previously “Grassroots Godism”).

We hope this project and email are of some interest to you. If not, please reply to this email with “Opt-Out” in the subject line to discontinue such communications.

The Higher Purpose marketing plan and website are near completion. Thus far we have four essays, called “Conversation Starters”, ready to go. The titiles are “Adventures in Sexual Integrity”, “Tuning Fork Theory of Spirituality”, “Beyond Polaization”, and “Searching for Peace.” Each essay reveals specific content from Father’s teachings, and we hope will be the beginning of a public conversation on that topic.

We need two additional “Conversation Starters” completed and three in process before we will be ready for our website to “Go Live”.

The reason for this email to ask for your help filling some immediate talent needs. Here is the situation for our team at present:

Role Paid? Name Steering Committee No John Hessell Cheryl Wetzstein Mark Anderson Jim Edgerly Advisors No Henri Schauffler Roger Wetherall Editors Yes Sunder Willett Joe Leonard Database No Kwonsook Gerena Graphics & Design Manager Yes OPEN Social Media Manager Yes OPEN Content Developers Yes Needed

As you can see, we need to fill openings in three areas:

1) Graphics & Design Manager - will assist in continuously improving the user experience, and will select and upload at least two images/graphics per “Conversation Starter”

2) Social Media Manager - will set up and maintain our presence on Facebook and Twitter 3) Content Developers - will manage a three stage topic development process, over a period of about 4 months, following the specifications of our Collaboration Guidelines. The three stage process is: i) write “Conversation Starter”, ii) moderate an on-line “Discussion Forum” (like a blog) iii) produce a “White Paper”. The Graphic and Social Media Managers will likely be paid on a “per Conversation” basis. Compensation for the “Content Developer” has not yet been finalized, but will not be less than $500. Our expectations for capability and results in each of these three areas is quite high.

If you or someone you know may be interested and qualified to joining our team in one of these roles, we would very much appreciate hearing from you. Please contact us through jbedgerly@ aol,com and/or jhessell@ gmail, com.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, Steering Committee Higher Purpose Forum
