Philippine leadership in 1977

The first two Filipina sisters to connect to the appointed national leadership of Nanette, our Blessing coupleship and the taught 7 day Divine Principle study content was Mila and Lydia in 1977; with Mother Nanette, their combined witnessing and teaching focus along with their enthusiasm was instrumental in the quick gaining of many new members from 1978 onwards.

This means they were the founding Filipinos although there were existing associate members. Lydia became the central figure of our newly pioneered mission center in Bacolod, Mila became the central figure of our newly pioneered mission center in Cebu. Progressively many other Filipina sisters took on city leadership Susan becoming the leader of Baguio, Angie of Iloilo, Celina of Cubao, Shirley of Davao and Ester “Faith” all across the entire country spreading her vertical standard.

Of course the brothers were absolutely hard working and central in the pioneering of the Unification Movement in the Philippines, but it means the Unification Church in the Philippines was consistent with the Providence of Restoration in that the women needed to be an Abel position towards the brothers and a spiritual bride position with the Messiah. Credit should also be given to Suhila (Islamic background from Kuwait) and also Gamalot (Coptic Christian from Kuwait) who at the risk of their lives followed me to the Philippines to help out in the mission there. This means although I had a leadership position externally, my blessed wife was the internal, vertical, spiritual leader
