4 Spiritual Pillars of Divine Principle

1. The invisible tangible world and the visible tangible world.

In creation there is not only the visible world, which resembles the human body, but also the invisible world, which resembles a human soul. The visible world exists where the physical body moves within time and space. While the invisible world is infinite and eternal beyond the physical world. It is where the spirit of man lives forever. As Heb. 8:5 puts it “what they serve is a shadow of the heavenly things…”. The invisible material world is a greater reality than this visible world. The invisible material world is subject to the visible material world. Just as the human mind is subject to the visible body.

The spiritual world and the physical world cannot directly communicate with each other. Therefore, man is created as a mediator and harmonious center for these two worlds. When man’s physical body and his spirit are united through perfect giving and receiving in a perfect man, so these two worlds, the visible and the invisible, are also united with man as mediator.

According to the Divine Principles, each person has his own physical body and also his spiritual body. Therefore we call his/her spirit the spiritual self.

The absolutely most important part of the spiritual man that needs to be perfected through the physical is the sensitivity to God’s love.

We have already explained that God’s purpose in creation is to achieve the Four position foundation. Where God’s ideal love can work.

Therefore, only those spiritual people who have already experienced the true love of parents, the love between husband and wife and the love of children centered on God, or in other words those who have already experienced this love on earth - only these - can go to the kingdom of heaven in the spiritual world and live the heavenly life.

The Kingdom of Heaven is a world ruled in harmony with God’s love. Where all are satisfied through this love of God.

God does not decide whether the spiritual person will go to heaven or hell. It is man himself who determines this through the life he lives here on earth. She/he goes to the place in the spiritual world that corresponds to the development her spirit reached on earth.

God, the Messiah and religion can only show man how to avoid hell and find the way to heaven.

2. The motive and course of the fall - Physical and Spiritual death

Because God’s love is the source of life and the ideal of all creation. Thus Eve, growing in the abundance of God’s love, appeared to be incredibly beautiful in the eyes of Lucifer. That’s why Lucifer was drawn to Eve.

They felt the impulse of love and sinned sexually. The sin that now occurred is called the spiritual fall.

After Eve and the archangel brought about the spiritual fall, by uniting their spiritual bodies in illicit (SEXUAL!) love. So Eve felt shame and also fear with the new experience she had.

She now understood that her husband was Adam and not the angel. Now she wanted to return to Adam, partly to correct her mistake and also to get rid of the fear she felt. So she seduced Adam and this second fallen act of love we call the physical fall.

3.1 Ressurection of Physical Man.

If man’s ancestor Adam did not fall but matured properly through the period of growth, then he would have reached perfection in his spirit which developed in the three stages of form-spirit, life-spirit and divine spirit.

As man fell from the top of the growth stage, his spirit decayed, and by receiving evil elements from the archangel, he fell far below the lowest level of the formation stage. Therefore, God laid a foundation, after the fall, where He could give man the Word and thus begin the work of restoration, which would be completed in the future.

On this basis, God began the design step of restoration through the Law of the Old Testament. This design stage lasted from Abraham to Jesus. The people of that time could reach the level of the form-spirit by believing in and living by God’s words in the Old Testament

The time from Jesus to the Lord’s return corresponds to the growth stage in the resurrection. During this period, man could reach the level of the life-spirit, if he believed God’s word, ie. the gospel in the New Testament.

After the Lord’s return, both body and spirit will be able to be resurrected. This is the perfection step of the resurrection. The returned Lord is the one who brings the whole truth, which fulfills both the Old and New Testaments. This new truth is called the Completed Testament. Through these words, man on earth can reach perfection and receive a divine spirit.

3.2 Ressurection of Spirit Man.

When a person becomes the object of a certain spiritual person, the spiritual person can work through them.

By pouring spiritual fire upon her. Give her/him the power to heal the sick, receive revelations or help others gain a deep understanding of the truth and other works.

Thus, spiritual people can only be resurrected by coming down to earth and cooperating with physical people and attaining perfection through them.
