There are very few who are without a standard of judging good and evil. Also there are not so many persons who take the lead in trying to be the good.

It is almost impossible to find a person intending to lead in the way of goodness and to exceed any existing standard of goodness.

This is because it calls for more courage than any other hero to take the lead.

Then what is the reason why very few persons are willing to be chosen man of good will?

The chief and major reason must be that the way to goodness is not an easy path, even though it is an everlasting one.

If goodness is to be connected with eternity and human beings, it will surely take our lifetimes to achieve goodness.

Regardless of how long you have been wrong it is possible for you to find the turning point to goodness.

On the other hand no matter how long you have been good, you can easily be pulled down in a moment.

Goodness can grow higher and broader each day, month, or year; coming to be connected the new world.

If we try to be good, we will be sure find nothing but great gladness as time goes by.

Let us focus on “I,” the individual.

Have you ever thought about your position relative to perfection? How far are you from perfection?

The center of a circle, which is equally distant from the edge in any direction, represents the original perfected position.

Then where are you in relation to it? How far are you off from this ideal central position?

How far was man brought away from that central point by the fall of man? Billions of people have been born since the fall, and human history has developed in a circular pattern away from the central point.

Consequently a wandering life with men trying to come back to the center from all different directions has been the characteristic of man’s history. One person may think that one point is his destination, while other people may circle around another particular point. They all misunderstand where the true center is.

The fact that Evil exists can be observed readily.

Therefore, the pertinent question is to find how Satan exercises such a terrible influence on mankind.

An influence so diabolical that Satan was able to tempt the Son of God by offering him the kingdoms of this Earth.

Let us think logically; this would not be a temptation unless the kingdoms were his to offer.

The Divine Principle shows that there is another entity other than God that seeks to govern the minds of man. It was man’s satanic attitude that murdered Jesus — the man Satan hated most, Man turned on and killed the very man who would have led them to a true spiritual freedom.

Satan has claimed many great men, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, together millions in the World Wars who defended the freedoms that God intended man to have.

Unless we recognize man is a spiritual being and understand how the spiritual entity we call Satan operates, we shall never understand why mankind turns on those who would best help and lead them.

If we are to preserve our civilization then we had better understand how the forces that oppose the growth of man operate.

What is it that you Unification Church members should do?

Although you cannot become world messiahs, you should at least become tribal messiahs.

If you cannot become tribal messiahs, you should at least become John the Baptists.

This is why I am raising the matter of Home Church.

Someone had to be the pioneer to pave that (Suffering) path, and it was I who did it.

An individual cannot attain perfection by knowledge, power or money. Rather, perfection is realized through love — not vulgar love, but the original love.

By this love everything is perfected.

We all have five senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell.

These five senses should begin from the foundation of perfected love and function centering on perfected love.

Every sensation of one’s eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, and so forth, should be perfected centering on love.

Ideally, we should experience the objective world through out five senses when they have become one centering on love.

This means, in short, that we would live in ecstasy.

In this state, enraptured by our surroundings, we would lovingly take in the world around us.

One cannot abide in that state by oneself.

One must be relating ever more closely with a counterpart.

One’s counterpart is ever changing, and the feelings coming from one’s counterpart are ever changing.

True love has the quality that it can enlarge to fill endless space or shrink to an infinitesimal point.

Such is heavenly love.

When we look through the eyes of love, it does not matter whether something is big or small.

Small things have their value in a small package, while big things have their value in a big package.

To create such a world of love is indeed the ideal of God.

The entire humanity, past, present and future all depend upon True Love yet nobody knew the meaning of True Love.

Do you know the meaning of True Love? Unification Church members know the meaning of True Love and once we know the meaning of True Love we can live our lives for perfection, reach there and enjoy happiness.

Once you know things inside out then you are able to share that knowledge with another individual or object. That is why the Bible says: ”The truth will set you free.’’

How? By obtaining knowledge you are able to recreate your partner, your object. When it comes to Unification Church members their center is True Parents and when we obtain knowledge through their teaching then we are all able to become the objects of True Parents.

The word True Parents cannot exist alone, always the words True Love are needed in order to connect with each other.

What is the root of love, of conscience or of God? (God) God is the central root.

The reason that we are not able to touch and see God, love and conscience is because all three are totally apart of myself, in a deep place within ourselves.

That is why we cannot touch and see them but nevertheless they exist. All three are a part of you, that is why you cannot see them.

We have to be logically clear in our understanding of this formula because we represent God and True Parents within our family and we raise children just as Adam and Eve were supposed to ideally raise their children centering upon God and True Love.

Once we fulfill that goal within ourselves we will be automatically elevated to the Kingdom of Heaven in the spiritual world.

Without the Fall this kind of family would have been completed naturally, but due to the Fall our only difficulty and task is to go out and reach those satanic children and people and restore them first and then come back to our family and fulfill the ideal within our family.

It is like a Cain and Abel concept. Have to love the Cain side first and then after that embrace the Abel family this is the restoration course viewpoint. That is the difficult path that we have to go through.

It is like being in the position of God, even if we sacrifice our children we have to save the world.

If we just stick with our own children and don’t take care of the outside world then we can never save the world.

Religion denies one’s worldly physical desires and one’s desires as a social being. Thus pure religion denies all realistic things.

Religion means to deny and repel eating, sleeping, sexual desires, and anything which you like.

Originally, a human being should eat, sleep, and like things.

However, those desires lead us to death, so we must reject them.

Burst a nuclear bomb in your body! Break and completely subjugate your body.

The body wants to be respected and to lead an easy, soft, smooth life.

But we should despise all that the body likes. We should love what is difficult, hard and rough.

The body likes a high position, caring about nobody else but oneself.

We have to destroy such a nature, and bring the body down, to be humble, serve and sacrifice.

The First Way to Dominate the Body

What is the first way to achieve unity of mind and body? Knock down the body. Strike the body. Deny everything that the body desires.

To what degree do we have to deny? Deny completely — deny to the point of death.

Therefore paradoxical logic can be applied, as in Jesus’ words. If we cannot knock down our body and follow only the mind’s desires, then we cannot fulfill ourselves.

In other words, when we try to kill our physical desires, the mind comes alive.

If we focus only on physical desires, we will die.

Therefore Jesus said, “He who seeks his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.”

The Second Way to Dominate the Body

The second way to dominate the body is to make the mind stronger. There are only two ways to dominate the body.

To make the mind stronger we need various conditions and dedication of heart.

When we dedicate our whole energy, the door to the mind opens up. When this door is open we can gain immense power. Then you have no problem with your body

The Way to Unite Mind and Body

There are only two ways to achieve mind and body unity.

The first is by striking the body; the second is by unity without doing so.

How can we achieve unity? Up until today, our mind has been losing in unequal battle, because the power of mind was too weak.

If we infuse power into our mind, it will become bigger.

By subduing the body, and then by leading the body with strengthened power through prayer.

We can experience this through religious life.

Even though we have no power ourselves, when the Holy Spirit and the spiritual world act together with us, then we gain strong power.

Only True Love Can Unite the Mind and Body

Logically speaking, wherever there is love, whether you go up, go down, or stay in the middle, you feel good.

Do you hate your loving husband for being in a position higher than you? Do you hate your beloved wife because she is better than you? The two are one. One!

Once you become one, you can freely go wherever you want- you can come up from below, come down from above, or stay in the middle. There are no obstacles.

Conclusion: only through true love can all our five senses be concentrated and united into one, laughing and dancing together. Who can deny this? If someone denies this, then he cannot be a human being.

Therefore, we again reach the conclusion that nothing but true love is able to unite the spirit self and physical self, the mind and body, and bring about mutual prosperity.

Do you know a place where God is nearest to you? That is the place of repentance. However, as you understand God more, you don’t need to say to Him, “Please forgive me because I committed such and such sins.” Once you repent the fact that you did not know God’s Heart looking over you, everything will be forgiven.

If there is a greater sinner than a prodigal son who wastes all the money of his parents, this is a son who hurts and wounds his parents’ loving hearts. There is no greater sin. If this son cries out while saying, “How can my sin that injured my father’s heart be forgiven?”, then the father will forgive him by saying, “Oh, my son and Oh, my son.” If the fallen parents can do this, God will definitely forgive you.

In general people go to their church and pray, “Please forgive me for I repent for such a such a sin I committed.” However, you rather pray like this, “I dishonored the principle of Heavenly ethic, trampled the sacred relationship between God and human being and violated the relationship between Human and all things of creation. I committed this grave sin that violated all relations of hearts. Please have your way for such a wretched man.” By repenting this way, you may be accepted by Him, and subsequently becoming victorious to be recognized by Heavenly Father, everything will be resolved completely. Heaven definitely visits a person who repents in such way.

God, True Parents, and each of us are absolutely necessary to the completion of restoration.

The first human ancestors should have become True Parents centered on God, but they fell.

Now, in order to overcome the motivation behind the Fall, the three must find a meeting point. God’s Will, True Parents’ will and our will must concur.

The purpose of humankind is fulfilled when the Lord of the Second Advent comes as the Parent of humankind, reaches the standard of a perfected human being, and unites humankind with God’s purpose of creation.

Then, through the unity of the parents and the children, the original garden of God’s Will is established.

When the parents and children forge an eternal, unbreakable family bond in that place, they will accomplish God’s Will for the first time. /SMM 1969.07.20 CSG Book 8 Ch3:5

Conclusion; Perfection will be achieved through True Parents Blessing us, and us creating the Four Position Family Foundation by living for Others!

The earth, not the spirit world, is the place to achieve perfection. It is possible to reach perfection on the earth, with true love as the center. It is not possible in the spirit world. This is why you need to have children.

They are the ones who will become the citizens of the kingdom of heaven. They will become the citizens of the ideal heavenly kingdom.

So you need to have many sons and daughters. The original ideal necessitated twelve directions. Therefore, I want the ideal of twelve directions.

The perfection of man and woman is through their sexual organs.

To fulfill the purpose of the sexual organs, one requires a partner.

Thus, woman must call out to man, and man must call out to woman.

It is absolute. It transcends history and circumstances. Hence, regardless of eventualities or what incidents may occur, this must be fulfilled.

If Adam and Eve had had good children and thus become True Parents, God would have substantially settled as the eternal Parent of humankind.

Moreover, the emergence of generations of descendants through that lineage would have fulfilled God’s desire to have an infinite number of citizens of the kingdom of heaven in the spirit world.

Conclusion; Multiplying True Parents Blessing will create the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth and in Heaven

Life on earth is for the sake of the perfection of the spirit world. The spirit world is the place where our spirit selves will eventually live. If our spirit self fails to accomplish a model standard in the flesh on earth, and if our spirit and flesh cannot experience love on earth, we will not be able to breathe when we go to that world.

Our spirit selves are meant to go there and be embraced in the bosom of God, our original Parent, receive love from Him and live at the center of His love.

To do so, we first need to be able to experience love through the five sensory organs of our physical body during our life on earth.

We live our life on earth for the sake of our complete maturation and so that we can enjoy total fulfillment in the spirit world. /SMM 1998.11.21

Through the Holy Marriage Blessing True Parents have bestowed on us followers to be the ”Holy Divine Body of True Parents” for Generation after Generation thousands of years.

If Adam and Eve had become one while attending God and if, after becoming perfect, they had married and given birth to children, they would have become the external, horizontal, substantial True Parents, while God would have become the internal, vertical, substantial True Parent.

If this had happened, Adam and Eve would have stood in God’s position and resembled God one hundred percent, both internally and externally. And if Adam and Eve, resembling God completely, had become the True Parents of humanity, all humanity would have come to recognize them as God’s substantial form.

Second, God created human beings as separate entities, man and woman, for the perfection of love. When Adam and Eve became the perfected substantial forms of love and achieved complete oneness,

God intended to dwell within them and become the Parent of true love for all humankind. Adam and Eve, who thus would have stood in the position of God’s external form, then would have been able to reproduce children and form an ideal family and an ideal world. Once this happened, the spirit world and the earthly realm would have been connected through humankind. /SMM 2006.02.03
