This explanation of the human Fall will clarify these issues.

The Root of Sin First human Angel ancestors

Illicit sexual relationship The root of sin is that the first human ancestors had an illicit sexual relationship with an angel symbolized by a serpent (p. 61).

God created the angelic world and assigned Lucifer(Isa. 14:12 KJV) to the position of archangel. Lucifer was the channel of God’s love to the angelic world, just as Abraham was the channel of God’s blessing to the Israelites.

In this position he virtually monopolized the love of God. However, after God created human beings as His children, He loved them many times more than He had ever loved Lucifer, whom He had created as His servant. I When Lucifer saw that God loved Adam and Eve more than him, he felt as if there had been a decrease in the love he received from God.

The Spiritual Fall and the Physical Fall Spiritual fall Spirit self

Physical self Physical fall  The fall which took place through the sexual relationship between the angel and Eve was the spiritual fall, while the fall which occurred through the sexual relationship between Eve and Adam was the physical fall.

The Fall of Man was first vertical – Lucifer  Eve then Eve  Adam spread it like a fountain horizontally over Earth.

Behind the Fall

Eve approaching Adam not simply to seduce and have sex but with two agendas on her mind.

One was seduction because she had learned that from the archangel and thought this was the intended relationship.

The other was an unspoken cry for help as she was also struggling with separation anxiety and dread. Adam failed to see this second issue – her confusion and her cry of pain, her cry for help.

Thus the blind sexual tryst, which they both fell into, failed to help.

Where Adam might have helped by retaining his natural dignity as a Son of God he had fallen into similar circumstances.

In this second area of the fall Eve had sought liberation from her internal suffering, her emotional psychological and spiritual agonizing albeit subconsciously felt but now both Adam and Eve were drawn into difficulties.

All this was a glimpse into the interior world of the self in trouble.

In our life:

Learning to read what lay under the persona presented to us is important.

This issue is called transference in the psychological world where an analyst may take on the feelings of a person in trouble thus seeking for the person suffering a transformation they might not be capable of themselves.

It is an act of service for others.

Adam failed to see his sister’s suffering in this way and became enmeshed in her sexual persona;

Understanding the importance of staying connected, however, establishes true insight and then provides a source of healing and redemption – and that’s the point.

Emanuel Swedenborg made the unique discovery that we each have three kinds or levels of blood— the red blood, the middle blood or Animal Spirit, and a higher blood fashioned from the human Soul.

Covering their sexual parts was an indication of sin

We do not know whether Eve picked and ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or whether she ate an apple.

In order to do so, she would have had to first see it with her eyes, then move her hands to pick it, and finally eat it with her mouth. Adam and Eve ought to have covered their eyes, hid their hands and covered their mouths;

yet they actually covered their sexual parts.

The expression to eat a fruit was itself a common euphemism for sexual intercourse,

In the course of daily life, transcending private feelings and embodying public feelings is the important issue that all people of faith must concern themselves with.

What is sin? Sin arises from private standpoints.

Ruin also comes about in the private sphere.

Evil is the same. When private matters are pursued beyond a certain degree, they manifest evil.

Private matters have certain limits; when exceeded, sin, evil and ruin result.

The Works of Good Spirits and Evil Spirits We use “good spirits” as a general term for God, spirits on the side of God, and good angels.

The general term for Satan and spirits on his side is “evil spirits.” The works of good spirits and evil spirits, as in the case of good and evil acts generally, have a similar appearance at the outset but pursue contrary purposes.

Over time, the works of a good spirit will increase a person’s sense of peace and righteousness and even improve his health.

The works of evil spirits, on the contrary, will gradually lead to an increase of anxiety, fear and selfishness and cause his health to deteriorate.

It may be difficult for someone who does not know the Principle to discern the works of spirits, but eventually, often belatedly, he will recognize the nature of the spirits by the fruits they bear.

The change called “death,” - the word is a misnomer – universally regarded with gloomy fear, occurs so naturally and simply that the greater number, after passing out of the physical are not aware that the transition has been made, and having no knowledge of a spiritual life

they are totally unconscious of having passed into another state of being.

Deprived of their physical sense organs, they are shut out from the physical light, and lacking, a mental perception of the high purpose of existence, these individuals are spiritually blind and find themselves in a twilight condition - the “outer darkness” mentioned in the Bible – and linger in the realm known as the Earth Sphere.

Humanity is surrounded by the thought influence of millions of discarnate beings, who have not yet arrived at a full realization of life’s higher purposes. In this world, selfishness ruins everything. Selfishness in the family causes disharmony, which then erupts into bitterness and strife. Everyone wants to be served instead of serving others. Wives tell their husbands what to do and then seek to be served. Husbands want to be served by their wives. Parents expect service from their children and the children take their parents for granted.

This is demonstrated in our families, in our societies, and in our nations.

I know that Western culture is characterized by individualism. However, selfish individualism is doomed. Sacrificial individualism will blossom.

Individuality in itself is good. God gave each one of us a unique way to serve. But individualism without God can only build castles on the sands.

In November of 2010, due to extenuating circumstances in our church community the Executive Vice President of the Family Federation for World Peace, Joshua Cotter, was asked to tour The United States giving a presentation entitled “A Period of Great Transition in History.”

Using only the Scriptures, I will show you that the Fall was brought on by an unholy sexual union between Satan and Eve.

First of all, we see in Gen. 2:25 that Adam and Eve were not ashamed of their nakedness.

They obviously had the perfect bodies that God had intended for them when they were created.

Now, notice after the Fall, in Gen. 3:7 & 10, that Adam and Eve were suddenly ashamed of their bodies.

Why would you be ashamed of your body if all you had done was eat a piece of fruit?

Now, back in Gen. 3:3, Eve tells Satan that neither she nor Adam can ‘touch’ the ‘fruit’ of the ‘Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil’ because if they do, they’ll die.

The word ‘touch’ here means ‘to lay hands upon, to lie with.’

When you ‘lie’ with someone in this capacity, it’s obviously sexual in nature.

The words ‘eat’ or ‘ate’ when used in these passages do not mean the literal consumption of food.

The words ‘eat’ or ‘ate’ when used in the first 15 verses of Genesis chapter three means ‘(lit. or fig.) to consume, devour (partake).‘

When you partake in something, that means you are engaging in an activity. And Eve certainly did partake here!

She engaged in sex with Satan (the ‘serpent’) who appeared to her in human form and sexually seduced her.

William Branham USA had been hearing voices since he was seven years old. Finally, in May of 1946, Branham was commissioned by an angel from God to be the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ. William Branham (1909-1965)

My comment: In June 1946 True Father went to Pyong Yang to search for the prepared Spiritual groups. Seams like that Heavenly mission “spilled over” to US.

One of the more radical beliefs of the group is that of Serpent Seed which states that the first sin committed occurred when Eve engaged in sexual activities with the Serpent in the Garden of Eden thus causing “the Fall of Man.”
