Divine Principle Predestination Karma - Give and Receive Restoration - Introduction v 1.9

2019-06-15 · Source: tparents.org

The fundamental law of the universe is the law of karma, which works on the physical, emotional, and mental planes of life and must be worked out or returned on the plane they were sown.

A. Introduction

This law is, in some measure, expressed in physics as: “For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction” (Newtons 3rd Law)

and philosophically: every action, word, emotion, and thought produces, in time, a reaction of like quality.

Karma – a Sanskrit word meaning deed or action – is also known as the law of consequences or compensation.

Applied to the moral sphere, it means: If we do good, good is returned; if we do evil, evil is returned

B. What Does the Bible Say about the Law of Karma?

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed” (Gen. 9:6).

“Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again your sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Matt. 26:52; Rev. 13:10).

“Those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same” (Job 4:8). See also Hosea 10:12-13.

Because “The eyes of the Lord are in every place” (Proverbs 15:3),

“He who conceals his transgression will not prosper” (Proverbs 28:13).

B. What Does the Bible Say about the Law of Karma?

“Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days” (Ecclesiastes 11:1).

“If a thief steals money or goods, he/she pays double” (Exodus 22:7)

“For all who take the sword will perish by the sword” (Matt. 26:52; Rev. 13:10).

B. What Does the Bible Say about the Law of Karma?

The golden rule, which is in harmony with the law of sowing and reaping, is expressed in Matt. 7:12: “Whatever you wish that men would do to you, do so to them”, or as it is usually worded,

“Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”

The “Silver Rule”

The silver rule has sometimes been described as the golden rule in a negative form. It is the golden rule without the gold.

“What you do not wish done to you, do not do to others.”

C. Practical Considerations of the Law of Karma

Paul said in Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” It has also been said, “ The gift you give to others is the gift you give to yourself.” “For that ye give, that alone you have – that ye lose ye never had.” For what you give away to others: your love, time, money (accumulated energy), labor, knowledge, power, etc., is what is really your own. Only when water was poured for others, became it wine (John 2:8-9)

DP Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation Section 2 Universal Prime Energy, Give and Take Action, and the Four Position Foundation

Give and Receive Action

Through the agency of universal prime energy, the subject and object elements of every entity form a common base and enter into interaction.

This interaction, in turn, generates all the forces the entity needs for existence, multiplication and action.

DP Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation Section 2 Universal Prime Energy, Give and Take Action, and the Four Position Foundation

Give and Receive Action

The interaction generating these forces through this process is called give and receive action.

Universal prime energy and the forces generated by give and receive action are in a reciprocal relationship of cause and result, internal and external, and subject partner and object partner.

Universal prime energy is a vertical force, while the forces generated by give and receive action are horizontal forces.

Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation CHAPTER 2 FALL OF MAN

The Root of Sin

The root of sin was not that the first human ancestors ate a fruit, but rather that they had an illicit sexual relationship with an angel (symbolized by a serpent).

Consequently, they could not multiply God’s good lineage but instead multiplied Satan’s evil lineage.

The original sin has been perpetuated through lineal descent from one generation to the next, sexual relationship that binds one in ties of blood.

Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation CHAPTER 2 FALL OF MAN

The Spiritual Fall

Lucifer, who left his proper position due to his excessive desire, and Eve, who wanted to open her eyes and become like God before the time was ripe, formed a common base and began give and take action.

The power of the unprincipled love generated by their give and take led them to consummate an illicit sexual relationship on the spiritual plane.

Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation CHAPTER 2 FALL OF MAN

The Physical Fall

Once Eve had united with the Archangel through their illicit sexual relationship, she stood in the position of the Archangel with respect to Adam.

Seeing Adam as her only hope of returning to God, Eve turned to Adam and tempted him, playing the same role as the Archangel had played when he had tempted her.

Adam responded and formed a common base with Eve, and they began give and receive action with each other. (illicit sexual love)

Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation Part II The Principle of Restoration through Indemnity

How does God separate Satan from fallen people who stand in the midway position?

Satan relates with them on the basis of his connection with them through lineage.

Therefore, until people make a condition through which God can claim them as His own, there is no way God can restore them to the heavenly side. Comment: All the cutting in half in the Old Testamant offerings.

Exposition of the Divine Principle 1996 Translation Part II The Principle of Restoration through Indemnity

On the other hand, Satan acknowledges that God is the Creator of human beings. Unless Satan finds some condition through which he can attack a fallen person, he also cannot arbitrarily claim him for his side.

Therefore, a fallen person will go to God’s side if he makes good conditions and to Satan’s side if he makes evil conditions.

The providence of restoration through indemnity is the path that returns to the original ideal.

The Unification Church is doing things opposite to what was done in the past.

Judaism, the nation of Israel and Rome came together to strike Jesus, but the Unification Church is doing the opposite thing.

Today, based on the foundation of the realm of victory gained in America, put pressure on the Korean government and Christianity.

Thus, the Unification Church has restored through indemnity the situation of Jesus who was killed by the combined opposition of Israel, Judaism and Rome.

Karma and Inherited Sin Editor Andrew Wilson World Scripture I

An ancestor’s merits and good works, when they are not reaped as blessings in his own life, will accrue as blessings for his descendants.

Inherited sin, like karma, is passed on from birth, but its transmission is analogous to the transmission of the parents’ biological endowment.

Collective Sin World Scripture I

Individuals are also connected to the larger humanity through space; they are a part of the collectives of nation, race, tribe, religion, and suffer or prosper with the fortunes of those collectives.

When a community or a nation sins and faces punishment — war, famine, disease, or an epidemic of drugs and crime, each of its members suffer as a consequence of belonging to that community even though their personal lives may be blameless.

Collective Sin World Scripture I

We may call this collective sin, and it also helps to explain people’s unequal fortunes.

Inherited sin, karma, and collective sin each give a partial explanation for the inequalities of the world within which the individual must find his way.

Nemesis Devina by Linné. The Divine Justice

Most people only know Linné as the great father of botany. But in his long life of searching the secrets of nature he finally came the conclusion that there is also a Law of Heavenly Justice ruling all human life.

Linnés background was very religious. “Having priests in his lineage both on the fathers and the mothers side, grown up in a lonely parriage in southeastern Sweden, Linné has already from childhood with his thoughts lived into the stories from the Bible, especially Old Testaments thought as well as its spirit and letter.”

Nemesis Devina by Linné. The Divine Justice

Linné is the one of all great writers of that century, who thinks Biblical, feels Biblical and writes Biblical.

…especially in his Nemesis Divina.

His book was probably never meant for the public, but written especially for his only sons personal reading.

In the book Linné has made a long collection of the faith of many people he met and heard of, where he clearly can see a pattern of a Divine law of indemnity (Nemesis Divina), which punishes misdoings between people, in their own life or the life of descendants.

Compare with The Divine Principle explanation of Law of Indemnity.

Jönköping Sweden - The farmhand. –

The wife goes into the basement for some to the farm-hand. The farm-hand takes farmer’s knife and goes after; terribly murdering the wife in the basement; and goes away.

The farmer waits for his wife’s invitation to dinner until close to 3. The farmer, says he will go home to teach his wife to have dinner ready on time, so that they do not work themselves to death.

Nemesis Devina by Linné. The Divine Justice

Returning home looking for his wife in vain, goes into the basement, since the door is open, finds his wife lifeless on the floor, lifts her up, bloodies himself, stops in horror.

Guests soon comes after, find the farmer in basement speechless, timid, bloody, wife still warm, even his knife bloody. He grasped, denies, but many likely reasons, Is sentences to death, decapitated.

After a few years it happens so thar the farmer-hand gets into a fight with another, hitting him in the head with a pole, that he dies; He is sentenced to death and confess that he had murdered the farmers wife.

The Judges in the Court of Appeal, which ruled, lose their salaries for half a year.

Introduction Last Days

The works of evil spirits do not always bear fruit and result in their receiving the benefit of returning resurrection.

To receive such benefit, their works must have the effect of punishing earthly people, thereby enlisting their help in making indemnity conditions in accordance with God’s plan to cleanse evil spirits through punishment. /Divine Principle

A heartistic relationship has been broken, the Cain and Abel relationship became one of distance.

Because the situation on earth became complicated, the situation in spirit world became more complicated.

The ideal of the kingdom of heaven must first be realized on earth, and on that foundation the spirit world will become perfectly organized.

I want you to live your life on earth through reorganizing, rethinking and reestablishing the original Principle of Reciprocation.

The Archangel Gabriel will blow a sacred trumpet horn to wake the dead at the Last Judgement

Unified Korea has the shape of an Angel blowing a horn! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

Divine Good Spirits Dominating Evil Spiritual World

Jesus casting out demons! Exorcism

3rd Adam Dominating Spiritual World

The spirit world could not function until the appearance of Unification Church. Why? Because there was no handle to grab; no rapport was established. There was no love between the races.

There was no one who could prepare the base so that God could really bring down His hosts of angels.

But now the Unification Church represents that base, so God can bring down any number of angels or spirit men He wishes.

So far, there have been many, many evil spiritual phenomena. There are many evil, lost spirits haunting people.

Spirits can also actually cause diseases and accidents. What is the difference between evil spirits and good spirits?

When an evil spirit approaches, you somehow feel fearful and uncertain and very unstable. A satanic spirit is like the winter wind, making you shiver.

But when some good spirit is trying to embrace you, you feel so good without reason! You’ll be walking on Cloud 9!

A heavenly spirit is like spring. It melts you, relaxes you, and gives you the warmth of love and comfort.

You should feel that in the Unification Church.

I have been conducting the program of the spirit world for everything. I do not talk about how heaven is or how heavenly father is, and so forth.

I do not talk about them carelessly. I only talk about them after I have digested them with the truth and can explain them in some systematic manner.

Do you think that I simply listen to the words of some women or grandmothers, or some spiritual medium? No way. They are ignorant.

They know how to testify to the present, but they do not know how things operate. /SMM (68-276)

3rd Adam Father especially proclaimed that Korea is the fatherland of Heavenly Parent. We should not leave his words unfulfilled. This nation should be the substantial Cheon Il Guk that we can offer to Heaven.

When this nation is governed by Heavenly Law which is beyond the national law, it would be easier to restore the rest of the world. /HJH Moon 0320 2013 Comment: Heavenly Law will bring down Blessing and Judgement!

They say the Lord will come to judge, but the savior is not someone who comes to judge. He is the son of God, and, at the same time, he comes as the parent of humankind.

Will someone who comes as the parent of humanity, with the heart of the parents, look at a sick son or daughter, groaning on the brink of death, and abandon them, saying, “You go to hell!”?

Even if parents in this fallen world see the miserable scene of their own child being about to die, they would cry themselves hoarse and want to do anything to save their child’s life, even at the cost of their own.

That is how parents are, so how much more would the savior, who has the original parent’s heart be determined to do? He cannot think of such a thing as judging people.

Don’t you think so? /SMM 1991.11.3

If three prominent young people in a village die, good fortune will come to that village.

If three promising youths of a clan die, good fortune will come to that clan.

In other words, indemnity must be paid.

It applies everywhere.

The principle of causality operates everywhere.

If God set up someone in a central position ( ex. Jesus) with a value equal to that of a thousand people and let him walk the path of death, and if those one thousand people are inspired by his grace and virtue so that they aim to live for his sake and follow his way of life, their entire race will enter the same blessed realm as he.

The reason people try to discover the thoughts of patriots and sages and follow them is to enter the same realm of their blessing.

Comment: Early Christians gladly died as martyrs! To enter Paradise together with Jesus.

Last year, several members went to the spirit world. This year, several more will go there.

Although I have not talked about it, I know of this already.

Why does this happen? Because when we go up one stage, we cannot avoid paying indemnity. /SMM 1970.7.28

Preface: One day in the beginning of 1984, on a somewhat chilly morning in Cairo, Egypt, I was having breakfast with Rev. Walter Gottesman. At the time, I was the International Itinerary Worker in Africa. Rev. Gottesman, an 1800 Couple, who was the missionary to Egypt, and I were seated at a table which was covered by very thick glass. All of a sudden, one corner of this glass cover cracked, and the line of the crack formed a small letter “h”.

We had not put any hot dish on that corner; in fact, all the food we were eating for breakfast was cold. But when I touched the place where the glass cracked, it was very hot.

Both Walter and I were certain that it was some kind of spiritual phenomenon.

Soon after that, we received the sorrowful news of Heung Jin Nim’s Seung Hwa (Death). /Dr. Zin Moon Kim (visited Finland 2000)

Ch 4. Three Stages of Judgment

It is our duty as fallen men to pass through three stages of judgment –

• judgment of words, • judgment of personality, and • judgment of love or heart.

• The repetition of actions is habit and habit becomes his character. Buddhism In Buddhism, this process is called karma. ‘Karma is volition,’ says the Buddha. In its ultimate sense, karma means both good and bad, mental action or volition..

• Thus karma is not an entity but a process, action, energy and force. Some interpret this force as “action-influence.” It is our own doings reacting on ourselves. The pain and happiness man experiences are the results of his own deeds, words and thoughts reacting on themselves. Our deeds, words and thoughts produce our prosperity, failure, happiness and misery.

• Karma is an impersonal, natural law operating in its own field without the intervention of external, independent ruling agencies.

• This simply means that karma is not complete determinism. The Buddha pointed out that if everything were determined, then there would be no free will and no moral or spiritual life. We would merely be the slaves of our past and that which has already been decided. There would be no cultivation of moral and spiritual growth.

• When wrongdoers are seen to be thriving or content, many feel that the law of cause and effect is not operative in their lives, but Buddha is explaining that at the moment they are reaping the effects of past good karma, but in time they will reap the evil, as well.

By observing a person’s present life we certainly can see what kind of karma they created some time previously, and can know what kind will be coming to them later on.

• In Karma-Yoga we have simply to do with the word Karma as meaning work.

• The goal of mankind is knowledge.

That is the one ideal placed before us by Eastern philosophy. Pleasure is not the goal of man, but knowledge. Pleasure and happiness come to an end. It is a mistake to suppose that pleasure is the goal.

Other Sources

The cause of all the miseries we have in the world is that man foolishly think pleasure to be the ideal to strive for.

After a time man finds that it is not happiness, but knowledge, towards which he is going, and that both pleasure and pain are great teachers, and that he learns as much from evil as from good. Source: http://www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info/vivekananda/volume_1/karma-yoga/karma-yoga_contents.htm

The word Karma is derived from the Sanskrit Kri, to do; all action is Karma.

As pleasure and pain pass before his soul they have upon it different pictures, and the result of these combined impressions is what is called man’s “character”.

All knowledge, therefore, secular or spiritual, is in the human mind. In many cases it is not discovered, but remains covered, and when the covering is being slowly taken off, we say, “We are learning,” and the advance of knowledge is made by the advance of this process of uncovering.

The ideal man is he who, in the midst of the greatest silence and solitude, finds the most intense activity, and in the midst of the intense activity finds the silence and solitude of the desert.

He has learnt the secret of restraint, he has controlled himself.

Other Sources

That is the ideal of Karma-Yoga, and if you have attained to that you have really learnt the secret of work.

All this is determined by Karma, work. No one can get anything unless he earns it. This is an eternal law.

The Emotion Code Other Sources Dr. Bradley Nelson

Emotionally-charged events from your past can still be haunting you in the form of “trapped emotions”; emotional energies that literally inhabit your body.

Dr. Nelson explains clearly and concisely how trapped emotions can create pain, malfunction and eventual disease. In addition, trapped emotions can exert a dramatic effect on how you think, the choices that you make, and how successful you will be.

Perhaps the most important discovery that Dr. Nelson has made is that trapped emotional energies will often gather around the heart, creating a “Heart-Wall” that may block you from giving and receiving love freely.

Family Constellation Therapy Other Sources

Family Constellations is an alternative therapeutic method which draws on elements of family systems therapy, existential phenomenology and Zulu attitudes to family.

In a single session, a Family Constellation supposedly attempts to reveal a previously unrecognized systemic dynamic that spans multiple generations in a given family and to resolve the deleterious effects of that dynamic by encouraging the subject to accept the factual reality of the past.
