Prophecy is a process in which one or more messages that have been communicated to a prophet are then communicated to others.
Such messages typically involve divine inspiration, interpretation, or revelation of conditioned events to come (cf. divine knowledge) as well as testimonies or repeated revelations that the World is Divine.

Therefore, the waves of God’s love must be renewed in order to make an impact upon this world.
Although God’s love was there, He had no way to convey His love waves to the world until the time of the installation of True Parents.
They were the central point of those waves.
The first True Parents, representing the love of God to others, also had to be True Children on another level.
Without both parents and children, God’s love could not be fulfilled on the earth.
Anyone who says, “I want the love of God, but I cannot go beyond my life,” will never reach the love of God. This is a very important, cardinal rule for the Unification Church way of life.
That is the point of the showdown between God and Satan within oneself.
Jesus said, ‘’He who seeks to gain his life will lose it but he who seeks to lose his life for my sake will gain it.”
Why did Jesus teach such a paradox? It is because the true love of God is beyond or outside of the life realm of the satanic world, so unless you are willing to give up that life you cannot reach it. If the Divine Principle claims Jesus did not come primarely to die on the Cross, why was it prophesied in Isaiah that he would suffer the ordeal of the cross?23(Isa. 53) We may think that the Bible contains only prophecies which foretold Jesus’ suffering.

However, when we read the Bible anew with knowledge of the Principle, we realize there are other prophecies to the contrary. As Isaiah prophesied24(Isa. 9, Isa.11, Isa.60) and and as the angel announced to Mary,25(Luke 1:31-33) it was foretold that Jesus would become the king of the Jews in his lifetime and establish an everlasting kingdom on the earth.
“But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the Law held in honor by all the people, stood up and gave orders to put the men outside for a little while.
And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men.

Then who was Elijah? God promised to have Elijah come first. About 900 years prior to Jesus Christ, Elijah came as a prophet; he fought evil; then he ascended into heaven in a chariot of fire.
Since the Old Testament predicted the return of Elijah, the people of Israel of Jesus’ time expected that Elijah would come from the sky, because the Bible recorded him as ascending into the sky.
Then did Elijah come? No. According to the Jewish faith, no Elijah had appeared.
Then one day, all of a sudden, they heard the great shocking news: the man of Nazareth, this humble figure from Nazareth, began proclaiming, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”; “I am the son of God.”
People were shocked, because they had not yet heard the news that Elijah had come.

First, the Korean nation, as the Third Israel, has believed since the 500-year reign of the Yi Dynasty the prophecy that the King of Righteousness would appear in that land, and establishing the Millennium, would come to receive tributes from all the countries of the world. This faith has encouraged the people to undergo the bitter course of history, waiting for the time to come.
This was truly the Messianic idea of the Korean people which they believed according to “Chung Gam Nok”, a book of prophecy.
Since it includes the prophecy that a new king would appear in Korea, the rulers have outlawed this ideology.
Moreover, the rulers during the Japanese regime suppressed the idea by burning the books in order to annihilate this ideology.
God revealed through Chung Gam Nok, before the introduction of Christianity in Korea, that the Messiah would come again, at a later time, in Korea. Today, many scholars have come to ascertain that most of the prophecies written in this book coincide with those in the Bible.
• Secondly, the reality is that the believers of every religion within this nation are receiving revelations that the founder of their own religion will come again in Korea.
• The Lord of the Second Advent, seen from the viewpoint of his mission, represents the second coming of the founder of every religion.
• Each religious body has received revelations different from others concerning the Second Coming of the Lord. Buddhism is saying the Miruk-Bul (Buddha) is coming, while Confucianism says Jin-In (True Man), Chun-Doism says Choi Su Un (its founder), and the Chung-Gam-Nok group says Chung-Do Ryung (Man with True Words) will come.
• Third, we can denote the fact that many spiritual signs regarding the Lord coming again in Korea are appearing like mushrooms after a rain. God’s word of promise that He will pour down His Spirit upon all flesh (Acts 2:17) is being realized among the Korean people today.

All later works by him was based on an remarkable sequence of revelations, which started on an October afternoon in the year 1917.

On the 13th of July they received a message that was to be given to the pope in the year 1960. (Comment: 1960 was the Holy Marriage of TP)

Comment: The Fatima timing (1960) is interesting. WW1 was the necessary condition for the Messiah to be born (1920).
At that early time (1917) the Revelation already pinpointed the very last date for “The Marriage of the Lamb”, True Parents wedding in 1960 was to take place.
At the time (1917) noone could predict how fast The Messiah would be accepted by people.
1946 TF started his Mission as Messiah/Christ… but was strongly rejected by Christians in Korea.

Through the medium Ray Stanford, the Fatima message has anyhow been disclosed. Here follows a brief summary of the message:
Of the three children there (who, symbolically, were representative of the children of the Earth, the children of men), two were told that their bodies would pass into death and that they would come into the heavenly regions.
And it came to pass so very shortly and without warning, in a sense, that two of them (Francisco and Jacinta Marto) died.
That whole event in human destiny of the two children of the three, dying and being taken to heaven in accord with their just reward and opportunities is symbolic of that which – that indeed of which – the angel of the Mother of Jesus warns yet today.
She warns of the danger of a vast and devastating world war in which, at worst, two-thirds of the children of men shall die. (Cuba crisis)
There was a warning that one unexpected event, however, almost an accident in a sense, could trigger the terrible and devastating war which was the core of the prophecy and warning that was never released by the Roman Catholic Church; and that the death of the girl child and the boy child was symbolic of, among other things, the seemingly senseless and indiscriminate nature of the deaths which shall occur in that war.
The angel of the Mother of Jesus warned, not only of war in Europe that has already occurred (1914-18,1939-45), but of the increase in materialism among the peoples of the yellow races and the advent of communism, or socialism in some forms among those people.

She warned of distress materially and financially; of a karma that should turn peoples to spiritual values the more; and of the social strife and upheaval that will be increased in times of financial and material difficulties and suffering among those who have become accustomed to a life of sloth, laziness, and comfort.

She warned that it (War) may come quickly-and--unexpectedly through those events that will build in the regions about Jerusalem and across the region called Palestine and in that called Israel today and in the lands thereabout.
This has been spoken of as the beginning of the Aquarian Age.
It is the shadow of the beginning of the Aquarian Age.
All beginnings incorporate birth and the pains and labours attendant thereunto.
You see, those things which are to come are far greater in their effect upon the physical, mental, and spiritual man than those which have transpired in recent years.
Whether it suits your intellectual predisposition’s or not, it is so and will remain so.
For man’s becoming God-or God’s becoming man, more accurately-is no petty, commonplace event in the history of man’s evolution.

As a psychic, he could between (1923-1945), with the help of doctors in the spiritualworld, helping hundreds of sick children to a full healthy life, which doctors have alreadygiven up hope of survival.
It was often the medicines recommended crafted with very old ingredients, suggestingthat those who gave the proposals by the sleeping Cacey been doctors who have livedon Earth for a long time.
With Cayce’s prognosticated time clock of forty years came a prediction that some have loosely interpreted as foreshadowing a Second Coming. “And these [changes) will begin in those periods in ‘58 to ‘98, when these will be proclaimed as period when His Light will be seen again in the clouds.”
As an inveterate Bible reader, Cayce drew on the Book as a source of prophetic inspiration, but his Scripture-like forecasts were as cryptic as those in Daniel and Revelation: “These changes on earth will come to pass, for the time and times and a half times are at an end, and there begin those periods for the readjustments. For how hath He given? ‘The righteous [the meek] shall inherit the earth’ Hast thou, my brethren, a heritage in the earth today?
And what boded “the day of the Lord is near at hand?“
That as has been promised through the prophet and the sages of old, the time and half-time, has been and is being fulfilled in this day and generation, and that soon there will again appear on the earth that One through whom many be called to meet those preparing the way for His day in the earth.” And when would this implied Second Coming materialize?
“When those that are His have made the way clear for Him. Don’t think there will not be trouble, but those who put their trust wholly in the Lord will not come up missing, but will find conditions, someway and somehow, much to be thankful for.”
To be in harmony with Cayce - and his time clock - one must obviously be as optimistic as he. It certainly would be incongruous to move about, as some may, to avoid the long arm of destiny. And if Cayce is right, and the Bible - as we profess to believe - life is of the spirit, anyway.
There is little doubt about Cayce’s optimism. In 1943, he heralded the dawn of a new age - Atomic, Space, or Spiritual with the Axis defeat. “When those that have gradually forgotten God entirely have been eliminated, and there has come, and will come at the close of this next year, the period when there will be no part of the globe where man has not had the opportunity to hear, ‘The Lord, He is God,’ and when this period has been accomplished [when God’s word is supreme], the new era, the new age, is to begin.”
The most interesting is the prophecy Cacey left and repeated many times during herlife, that in 1936 started a major change in the earth’s interior magma, which begins torotate faster than the Earth’s surface. American Christian minister, founding the post World War II Divine Healing Movement.
During a 1933 baptismal service at the Ohio River at Jeffersonville, Indiana, a 1933 SUPERNATURAL BEING appeared before hundreds of people saying to him, “As John the Baptist foreran the first coming of Christ, you will forerun His second Coming.”
This picture is displayed today at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
William Branham USA had been hearing voices since he was seven years old. Finally, in May of 1946, Branham was commissioned by an angel from God 1946 to be the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.
My comment: In June 1946 TF (Sun Myung Moon) went to Pyong Yang to search for the prepared Spiritual groups for the Second Coming of Christ.
It seams like that Heavenly korean mission “spilled over” to Branham in USA.
One of the more radical beliefs of the group is that of Serpent Seed which states that the first sin committed occurred when Eve engaged in sexual activities with the Serpent in the Garden of Eden thus causing “the fall of man.”
“What did he do? He begin making love to Eve. And he lived with her as a husband. And she saw it was pleasant, so she went and told her husband; but she was already pregnant by Satan. And she brought forth her first son whose name was Cain, the son of Satan.
While Branham had taught the doctrine since 1957, he suggested in 1960 that the Holy Spirit had just revealed it to him as one of the mysteries that God was revealing in the “end-time”.

A MYSTERIOUS CLOUD
On February 28, 1963, over in Arizona, U.S.A., 1963 a constellation of seven angels appeared to Reverend William Marrion Branham in the form of a ring shaped-Cloud.
These seven angels came from the presence of God revealing to him the hidden mysteries of the Bible which were sealed in the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation yet were ordained to be unveiled at the end time.
A MYSTERIOUS CLOUD 1963 Many pictures were taken of this peculiar Cloud, some appearing in Life Magazine (May 17, 1963 issue); some in Science Magazine (April 19,1963 issue), along with a scientific report of how it was scientifically impossible for such a cloud to exist. The highest clouds form at about 10 miles, but this phenomenal cloud was 26 miles up, at which altitude water vapor does not exist.
The original glossy prints reveal the full face of the Lord Jesus Christ as the picture is viewed from the right side angle “like unto the Son of Man, His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow” (Rev.1:13).
Ahn Sahng-hong Hangul: 안상홍; hanja: 安商洪; RR: 13 January 1918 – 25 February 1985 was a Korean Christian minister and founder of Witnesses of Jesus Church of God.
Ahn, who like most Christians believed in the Second Coming of Jesus, had predicted a Second Coming “within 10 years” in 1956.
Ahn further believed to be living in the end time and that the Second Coming was imminent.
By 1978 a group of people centrered around a female member, one Um Sooin (born 1941), claimed that Um was “our mother who has come down from Heaven”.
As Korean Protestants earlier in the 20th century had perceived Japanese occupation by identifying symbolically with the history of Israel… Comment: Compare with DP interpretation of 40 year under Japanese rule.
Ahn in his book The Bridegroom Was a Long Time in Coming, and They All Became Drowsy and Fell Asleep (1980) in a discussion based on scriptural typology, presented his conclusion that the world would come to an end in 2012.

I was in my 20s when I heard the Divine Principle lectures in a dumpy house in Omaha. I was taught about the providential role of Billy Graham. I remembered my experience years before and decided to write to him. I felt a letter to him would never make it because his staff would screen me out. But I had a feeling that his wife would read a letter from me. I wrote and told her about the Divine Principle and asked if she had heard this wonderful new truth.
To my surprise she wrote me right back. I still remember the incredible pain I felt when she told me in her own handwriting to look elsewhere for the Messiah.
1920: Birth of the Messiah by John Godwin 1970s I got that letter 25 years ago. I hope she can hear the Principle in her lifetime and learn God’s will.
I will send this chapter of my book to her, but I’m not holding my breath that she can even read this far before throwing it into the trash. She is old now and I realize that the reality of God’s restoration providence is very slow. (Ruth Graham died 14 July 2007)
If she doesn’t open her heart to the truth that hurts, perhaps her children will. Maybe it will take three generations of the Graham family to see that the Bible is very clear in showing that John the Baptist failed and that God has worked His most amazing, “mysterious way” in sending a messiah who was given his mission a few miles from where Ruth Graham was going to school in one of the remotest places on earth.

Early in the morning on Aug. 20, 1994, in Janesville, Wisconsin, Dave Heider, a local livestock farmer, went out to his field to check on his herd of buffalo.
He could not believe what he found; rubbing his eyes and looking again, he realized that the white buffalo calf standing in front of him was not an apparition. In those early moments of bewilderment, Mr. Heider did not truly understand that the newborn calf he was marveling at was the fulfillment of a prophecy of the Native Americans.

In his book Unknown But Known Ford had recounted two lengthy seances undertaken on behalf of Sun Myung Moon, then an obscure Korean evangelist.

But at the end of the age from which you are just emerging you enter a New Age.
It was said that there would be many false Christs and many people would claim to be what they were not and they would lead the people astray in many directions. And those are the people who are just as real as the rest of us, but who have for some reason refused to accept the spiritual heritage which they had a right to claim.
And out of the shambles of a crumbling civilization and above the cries of distress that you hear in every part of your world today, there is a plan slowly and definitely unfolding to restore man to the state of perfection which is necessary if he is to live happily and handle wisely the instruments that materialistic science has wrested from this mysterious and growing universe.
And he has the rare quality of projecting himself, which isn’t a miracle really.
Mr. Moon in deep meditation can project himself and be seen just as Jesus has been able to project himself and be seen by the saints.

On another occasion a translation of what he said in the Korean language was given as follows: “This is God’s world and it has no boundaries. It is one.
Your life is one of universal significance and I call upon you to share my mission. Be urgently concerned for the world and know, feel and act in accordance with the Divine Will.
The purpose of the coming Lord is that some day all shall be like him – like Christ.”
It is in his own conscious acceptance of this mission that Sun Myung Moon has meaning for the world. It is the need for urgent, immediate and sustained action in the service of the universal Christ which remains our predominant and enduring thought and inspiration as the result of our meetings in Korea with Sun Myung Moon.
Walter Voelker: What can we ourselves do to help?
Fletcher: Hear the word and do not allow tradition to blind you to revelation.
Walter Voelker: How can we reach others and bring this to their attention?
Fletcher: I know of no way except individuals who experience God in some form - who have had the courage to look at what they are and what they have and what they believe through the lens of revelation and inspiration - then speak.
Mr. Moon reminded me that in the Book of Revelation 1965 there is a picture of the New Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down out of the heavens.
And there was a door on the east and a door on the south, a door on the north and a door on the west – and when the teacher comes, he always has to come through the eastern gate.
In the Holy City of Jerusalem there is an eastern gate long since sealed and blocked. It will never be opened until the new teacher comes.

The Hebrew name of the Golden Gate is Sha’ar HaRachamim ( ,( שער הרחמיםGate of Mercy. In Jewish sources the eastern gate of the Temple compound is called the Shushan Gate., this would make it the oldest of the current gates in Jerusalem’s Old City Walls.
I can only repeat the vision of John, that when the New Age comes, the Eastern Gate will open, and not only man – but Revelation – will flow out of that gate. /Fletcher

Anthony Brooke: Can you say how near we are to such a breakthrough of universal truth?
Fletcher: You are in the process now. But before Jesus became manifest there were people who had been prepared - John the Baptist came prepared. But the world has grown and multiplied - the means of communication have become simpler and easier. It takes not one man in a little country to be a John the Baptist, but many men in many countries to herald the coming.
Fletcher: Tell him that he did well to come here… This is the end of an age, and the battle that is raging is really Armageddon. It’s a battle between the selfish, brutal men who do not think in terms of God or things which are associated with that word - against those peoples who will be the harbingers of the New Age. You are now in the new Age - and old things are being destroyed - and new things - which are eternal but which are new only because mankind has now reached the point where it is able to recognize them and use them.
Fletcher: The Jesus of Galilee will not return – it is not necessary.
The Christ who manifested through him is the Eternal – he will manifest again.

Walter Voelker: May I ask a question, Fletcher?
For persons like me, familiar with the teachings of Jesus and to whom the Divine Principles seem strange, can anyone tell the relationship between the “teachings of Jesus” and the “messages of Sun Myung Moon” so that I will not be confused?
Fletcher: I will have to speak for the people here. Truth never contradicts itself. Quite often what you call the teachings of Jesus may be - they often are - interpretations which men have made, and about which men have built institutions.
You cannot, in your age, rely upon any ancient formula or any ancient definitions of God or man. The other religions develop dogmas and doctrines about both man and God. And when they declared them, science challenged them - and then chaos, confusion, set in.
In the age in which you are living, all the debris that has accumulated around Truth must be brushed aside, for all Truths become loaded with ideas, organisations, which grow up in the heart of devout people, but which have no relation really to the Truth itself.
But if you try to build a life, a philosophy, or a religion only on those facts which you are able to perceive through your senses - and if you rely only upon sensory perception and experience, you will not find the Truth.
There was no Evil in God’s creation; there is no Evil in the Mind of God.
But man through his own choice - and because he has yielded to the instinctual urges which are a heritage of his animal ancestry as a physical vehicle - has created a dual universe.
And you will be compelled to end the Battle of Armageddon. But it will be a victory in which all the selfish nationalism, the creeds, the hates that grow out of these things will be ended. It will not be finished in your lifetime, but your lifetime is not limited to this little expression through your physical bodies. You will still be a part of the chosen; you will still be a part of those who will be influencing and guiding and throwing light on the path of those who will build the Kingdom of God on earth.
Miss Kim: Do you mean the Christ of 2,000 years ago?
Fletcher: There was no Christ 2,000 years ago there was a man 2,000 years ago through whom the Anointed One was able to manifest. The man died - Christ lived - and, as the Holy Spirit, has been helping. You must remember that, when this man said, “I will be with you until the end of the age,” it was not the Galilean speaking, it was the Incarnate Christ…
Miss Kim: Will there be many leaders in the New Age?
Fletcher: Even if there is a Christ he had to choose the twelve, and they, in turn, touched the lives of others. Because the message could not have been given if it had been limited to one man, to one race, to one group.
But always, as this man said, it has to start with one man - and always the revelation is founded upon the truth once revealed, but it is added to, and expressed in terms not of yesterday, but of the future… There must always be someone who can accept the responsibility of passing the truth on.
The Spirit of Truth, like the sun, will light the whole world.
Miss Kim: Do you know that there should be one true father and mother - true parents for the New Age?
Col. Pak: Could you give me some forecast of our leader’s work, the teaching and educational process of this new truth, in the United States?
Fletcher: First of all, he must be willing to listen, to speak, and then have his words translated - and they will be translated into many languages.
But you cannot expect the message to be accepted immediately by vast numbers of people only those who are ready and who are willing to listen and to whom this particular message seems to be right and meaningful. That is the way that all the world teachers have bad to go.
And remember one thing only, that if it is of God, it can not fail.
And it is of God.
You are very fortunate to have a man who can be used so greatly to lift the pall of spiritual darkness. It is no accident that Mr. Moon was chosen because he was born into a part of the world, where at this particular moment, the battle is raging most fiercely.
He will be able, through his influence and the people whom he reaches with the message to turn the Battle of Armageddon into victory in the East.
I can only repeat the vision of John, that when the New Age comes, the Eastern Gate will open, and not only man - but Revelation - will flow out of that gate.
Col. Pak: One question. Do we have to overcome the greater degree of a kind of persecution or oppression while we are enforcing our spiritual movement in this world?
Fletcher: Every spiritual movement has to meet opposition even from other spiritual movements, because you have to, by your lives, demonstrate that you have something that is superior.
No argument will win the victory in a spiritual contest - except the transformed personality.
You have it, sir. Others have it.
Gordon Ross: Will you say when the New Age began? What year?
Fletcher: The New Age moved in gradually - it has been gradually coming for half a century, but four years ago - - - Never make the mistake of saying Christ was born - Jesus was born in Bethlehem - Christ the Incarnate One used his body - he lived before - and he lives now.

My endeavor now comes to the point that it must be manifested and fulfilled.
My utmost interest is focused upon two major points.
ONE, the liberation of humanity - the true liberation I mean - the liberation from sin — liberation from the bondage of evil forces.

In other words, how can we liberate the World of Spirit as well as the Physical World from the bondage of satan. You may not know very well, but I say that I am a rather controversial person, maybe not in this world as yet, but certainly in the World of Spirit.
The world has known many saviors. The very word savior means a healer. Mr. Moon is one who is to heal, not simply the bodies, but the minds and the spirits of men. And when a person is healed he is free.
…he will speak of basic things out of which every spiritual yearning and aspiration must grow. He will speak of an eternal God. And he will speak of that God in action through men.
And he will help you, as Jesus tried to help you - and which so many of you have forgotten - that the man who is spiritually healed and free is no longer under law.

The religion of tomorrow will not be called Christian as you know it now. You are already living in a New Age, a post- Christian age.
Principles of the Christ are not limited to any age.
He is a fortunate man who has found a teacher who does not mouth pseudo-truths, who strips away everything to hide you from the only truth - that God is - that God is in you.

It seems that he has already come, but the changes he will bring will become visible only after time.
Vanga is clear that this person will work to remove the religious divide, which is the cause of many ethnic and religious wars and tensions around the world.
Also from her prophecy is clear that he comes as a peacemaker to bring peace to mankind.

On another occasion a translation of what he said in the Korean language was given as follows: “This is God’s world and it has no boundaries. It is one.

After spending a month in Korea as his guest, I can myself testify to the remarkable revelations which come to those who are attuned to him.
It seems to me that because Sun Myung Moon is incarnate upon the earth at this time and has a particular link with the Christ Ray, he make an indispensable bridge for many people who are being given exceptional and life changing experiences by taking his powerful name into their meditations.
It does not seem to me to be adequate to dismiss this Revelation with the advice of Gamaliel as given in Chapter 5 of the Acts of the Apostles.
It is surely not enough simply to say:
“Let these people alone. If this movement is merely human it will collapse of its own accord, whereas if it is of God it cannot be overthrown.”

During the years before Ron was elected to public office, I had often detected a spiritual side to him. For example, I remember once when I gave a small dinner party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and invited him.
He brought up the subject of the Second Coming of Christ. The same subject came up with him on other occasions as well.

If he (Jesus) had been allowed to live He would have gone on teaching and in the end, 1981 Ken Akehurst been accepted by all as the Son of God, and the world would have become a better place for it.

John the Baptist of 2000 years ago was a person of tremendous influence, enjoying great prestige all over Israel as a great man of God — just like Billy Graham of today, a great Christian leader.
Let us say some unknown young man suddenly appeared and began proclaiming himself to the world as the Son of God. As a student of the scriptures, you would ask him, “If you are the Son of God, where is the promised Elijah?” If this man said, “Do you not know that Billy Graham is Elijah?” what would be your reaction?
You would undoubtedly say, “Impossible! How could Billy Graham be Elijah? He did not come out of the blue sky. We all know he came from North Carolina!” You could not accept that, could you? Precisely this same kind of unbelief confronted our Lord Jesus Christ.
People could not accept John the Baptist as Elijah, simply because he did not come from the sky. The people of 2,000 years ago were stubborn in their belief that the prophecy of Elijah’s return must be fulfilled literally, that he must come from the sky. They were the victims of the letter of the Old Testament
We must not doubt the messages from spirit world. When we enter there, we will be measured by our belief in spirit world messages.

I heard this: Providentially President John Kennedy (a Catholic) was in the position of the external John the Baptist, which put Pope John the 23rd in the position of internal John the Baptist.
They were somehow supposed to unite with TP.

This did not happen. So, like the original John the Baptist at the time of Christ, JFK lost spiritual protection and was killed. However, the providence goes in cycles.
Therefore, new responsibility fell upon JFK, Jr. From a certain providential view, he was placed in the position of both JFK and Pope John the 23rd. Therefore, he received the name John John, representing both of these providential figures.
