Divine Spirit Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect. /Math 5:48

Introduction Divine Spirits

The spirit can grow only while it abides in the flesh.

Thus, the relationship between the physical self and the spirit self is similar to that between a tree and its fruit.

When the physical mind obeys the spirit mind and the physical self acts according to the good purpose of the spirit mind, the physical self receives living spirit elements from the spirit self and becomes wholesome. In return, the physical self provides good vitality elements to the spirit self, which enable the spirit self to grow properly in the direction of goodness.

Introduction

It can be inferred from the above that the spirit self can attain perfection only during a person’s earthly life. The spirit mind guides the spirit self as it grows in the soil of the physical self.

The growth of the spirit self toward perfection progresses through the three orderly stages ordained by the Principle of Creation.

A spirit in the formation stage of life is called a form spirit; in the growth stage, a life spirit; and in the completion stage, a divine spirit.

Introduction

A spirit fully matures as a divine spirit when the person’s spirit self and physical self unite through perfect give and take action centered on God and form the four position foundation.

A divine spirit can accurately feel and perceive every reality in the spirit world. As these spiritual realities resonate through the body and manifest themselves as physiological phenomena, they can be recognized through the five physical senses.

Introduction

People of divine spirit, who thus resonate with the spirit world, build the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

When they shed their physical bodies, they will make a smooth transition into the Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world.

For this reason, the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven will be realized only after the Kingdom of Heaven on earth has been established.

Divine Principle

Christ at the Second Advent brings the new truth with which to fulfill the promises of the Old and New Testaments; it may be called the Completed Testament.

Believing in this truth, people are to serve and attend the Lord on the earth, that they may fulfill their responsibility for the providence and be justified before God.

Therefore, this era is called the age of justification by attendance.

Divine Principle

By believing in and serving the Lord and devoting themselves to his work, people of this era are to be fully resurrected both spiritually and physically, become divine spirits, and live in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

When they shed their physical bodies, as spirits they will enter and abide in the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven, which is the divine-spirit level of the spirit world.

Is Jesus God

On the grounds of all these Biblical verses, many Christians have hitherto believed that Jesus is God Himself, the Creator.

As demonstrated above, Jesus, as a man having fulfilled the purpose of creation, is one body with God.

So, in light of his deity, he may well be called God. Nevertheless, he can by no means be God Himself.

The relationship between God and Jesus can be compared to that between the mind and body.

The body, as the substantial object which resembles the mind, is one body with the mind, so it may be called a second mind (image of the mind), but the body can by no means be the mind itself.

In like manner, Jesus, being one body with God, may be called a second God (image of God), but he can by no means be God Himself.

It is true that he who has seen Jesus has seen God (John 14:9-10); but Jesus did not say this to indicate that he was God Himself.

It is written (John 1:14) that Jesus is the Word made flesh.

This means that Jesus is the substantiation of the Word; that is, the incarnation of the Word.

Then, it is written (John 1:3) that all things were made through the Word, and again (John 1:10), that the world was made through Jesus; naturally, Jesus may be called the Creator.

According to the principle of creation, the world of creation is the substantial development of the character and form of a man of perfected individuality.

So, a man who has fulfilled the purpose of creation is the substantial encapsulation of the entire cosmos, and the center of harmony in the whole creation.

In that sense, it may also be said that the world was created by a man of perfection. God intended to have man, after his perfection through the fulfillment of his own portion of responsibility, stand in the position of the creator over all things, by giving him even His own creative nature.

Seen from this perspective, we can understand that the Bible (John 1:10) only clarifies the fact that Jesus was a man who had perfected the purpose of creation, and does not signify that he was the Creator Himself.

Jesus was a descendant of Abraham; but since he came as the human ancestor giving rebirth to all mankind, he would become the forefather of Abraham, in light of the providence of restoration.

This is why Jesus said (John 8:58), “… before Abraham was, I am.”

We must understand that this also does not signify that Jesus was God Himself.

Jesus, on earth, was a man no different from us except for the fact that he was without original sin.

Even in the spirit world after his resurrection, he lives as a spirit man with his disciples.

The only difference between them is that Jesus abides as a spirit man of the divine spirit stage, emitting brilliant light, while his disciples are the objects who reflect this light.

Meanwhile, Jesus has been interceding for us before God even in the spirit world after his resurrection (Rom. 8:34), just as he did on earth. If Jesus is God Himself, how could he intercede for us before Himself?

Comment: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Tim. 2:5

Mediator is between 2 parties. Like Jesus mediates for man between God and satan. You can not mediate if you are God. That´s like being both defender and Judge in the court

Moreover, we see that Jesus also called upon “God” or “Father” for help, which is good evidence that he is not God Himself (Matt. 27:46, John 17:1)

If Jesus was God Himself, how could God have been tempted by Satan, and finally crucified by the evil force?

Furthermore, when we find that Jesus said on the cross, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” it becomes clear that Jesus is not God Himself.

Message from Spirit World 1965

The Jesus of Galilee will not return - it is not necessary.

The Christ who manifested through him is the Eternal – he will manifest again.

Mr. Moon in deep meditation can project himself and be seen just as Jesus has been able to project himself and be seen by the saints.

This is one of the marks - of the messiahs always.

This is the end of an age, and the battle that is raging is really Armageddon. It’s a battle between the selfish, brutal men who do not think in terms of God or things which are associated with that word - against those peoples who will be the harbingers of the New Age.

You are now in the new Age - and old things are being destroyed - and new things - which are eternal but which are new only because mankind has now reached the point where it is able to recognize them and use them.

‘From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. /Mathew 11:12

The revelators seldom live to see their revelations widely accepted. But they do always draw to them – and leave behind them – a group who continue the revelation.

But it is not likely that everyone will accept it, because it needs education and it will take time. Nobody can give away perfection. Perfection was the ideal, and perfection was mans goal from the beginning, but man choose himself to loose that perfection, and she must now choose to return to it.

But you cannot expect the message to be accepted immediately by vast numbers of people only those who are ready and who are willing to listen and to whom this particular message seems to be right and meaningful.

That is the way that all the world teachers have had to go.

And remember one thing only, that if it is of God, it can not fail. And it is of God.

/Arthur Ford sitting 1965

Heavenly Inspiration

Divine Principle on Divine Spirits

Divine Principle

The Kingdom of Heaven and Paradise

Some Christians have been unclear in their concepts of the Kingdom of Heaven and Paradise because they lack a full understanding of the Principle.

Had Jesus completed his mission as the Messiah on earth, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth would have been established in his day.

The Kingdom of Heaven in heaven would also have been realized at that time, once people of perfect character living in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth had passed into the spirit world as divine spirits.

Divine Principle

However, because Jesus died on the cross, the Kingdom of Heaven on earth was not realized.

The earth never saw the appearance of people who had reached the level of a divine spirit.

No one has ever become a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven in the spirit world, which was created as the home of divine spirits.

Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven in heaven remains empty and incomplete.

Divine Principle First Resurrection

The hope of all Christians is to participate in the first resurrection.

But who in fact shall participate? It will be those who are the first to believe in, serve and follow Christ at the Second Advent.

Divine Principle First Resurrection

They will assist him in fulfilling all the indemnity conditions worldwide and in accomplishing the providence of restoration.

In the process, they will be the first to have their original sin removed, become divine spirits, and fulfill the purpose of creation.

Divine Principle Completion-Stage Returning Resurrection

The spirits of people who believed in Jesus while they lived on earth during the New Testament Age became life spirits and entered Paradise after death.

After the Second Advent, these spirits will all return to the earth to help faithful people believe in and attend the returning Christ.

By thus helping people on earth to attain the level of divine spirit, they too will receive the same benefit and become divine spirits.

Divine Principle The Unification of Christianity through Returning Resurrection

At the time of the Second Advent, all life spirits who dwell in Paradise descend to the people on earth who, by believing in and attending the Lord, can attain the level of divine spirit.

By cooperating with these people to fulfill God’s Will for the providence of restoration, the spirits can share the same benefit and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Accordingly, all the spirits will descend from Paradise in that day and assist the believers on the earth.

Spiritual Existence

According to the Divine Principle, the created cosmos consists of a spiritual realm and a physical realm created after the pattern of the human being.

Human beings are then seen to consist of a spiritual self and a physical self, where the spiritual self and physical self both have mind and body.

This gives us a fundamental structure of four components to human existence: spirit mind, physical mind, spirit body and physical body.

UTS David Burton 2007

This idea of a spirit body is significantly different to traditional Western thought that limits bodily manifestation, with its attributes of quantity, divisibility and extension in space, to the physical realm.

Indeed, the Divine Principle is quite serious about the notion of a spirit body, even ascribing to it five spiritual senses with which to perceive an embodied spiritual realm.

UTS David Burton 2007

There are four kinds of sungsang and hyungsang in human nature. First each human being is a substantial image integrating all things.

We contain in our sungsang and hyungsang not only the sungsang-hyungsang elements of the animal kingdom, plant kingdom, and mineral kingdom, but also the sungsang-hyungsang elements unique to human beings, namely the spirit mind and the spirit body.

UTS David Burton 2007

Second each person is a being of united mind and body.

And third, each human being is a being with a dual mind consisting of a spirit mind and a physical mind.

In the human mind the faculties of intellect, emotion and will of both the spirit mind and the physical mind are unified, and intellect, emotion, and will are also unified.

UTS David Burton 2007

Andrew Wilson’s Ten Characteristics of Spiritual Existence

1. People in the spirit world live as embodied forms and carry on all major life activities. 2. Energy in the spirit world flows directly from God, shining as the sun of love to illuminate and govern 3. Spirit world is a world of thought; communication occurs through thought, and thoughts can immediately induce movement or the materialization of things. 4. In the spirit world form is not fixed, but is far more plastic, reflecting the spirit’s inward character 5. Human beings and angels exist for eternity, rooted in their unchanging essence

UTS David Burton 2007

Andrew Wilson’s Ten Characteristics of Spiritual Existence

6. The spirit body that forms an envelope around the spirit may be of various levels of denseness, according to the realm in which the spirit exists. In general, the spirit body is composed of elements fitting for the realm in which it dwells. There seems to be a correlation between the spirit body and the surroundings environment.

UTS David Burton 2007

Andrew Wilson’s Ten Characteristics of Spiritual Existence

7. There is no multiplication in the spirit world. 8. Human beings are co-creators of the environment in the spirit world. 9. Animals, plants and inanimate objects exist, not eternally, but only insofar as there are humans who treasure them. 10. Due to the Fall spirit world is divided into various realms, arranged in concentric circles “above” and “below” the earth

UTS David Burton 2007

Spiritual Body and Energy

The attributes of bodies — spatial extension, quantity and divisibility — are also to be applied to spiritual existence.

In other words, we are led to postulate the existence of matter in the spiritual realm.

UTS David Burton 2007

The first conclusion is that this energy must be associated with, or actually is, some kind of particle or particles, and those particles are probably of a different type to those currently known to science.

Secondly, if energy is associated with spiritual existence, we would expect there to be some observable consequences for the physical realm. Since energy and mass are equivalent, energy in the spirit realm will have a mass equivalence, and we should expect as a minimum to see some gravitational effects in the cosmology of the physical realm.

UTS David Burton 2007

Normal matter that we commonly know only comprises about 5% of the energy density in the observable universe.

The other 95% is divided between dark energy and dark matter. The word “dark” is used because physicists do not know what they are, although they can indirectly observe their effects.

Dark energy is responsible for an accelerating expansion of the physical universe. It is currently thought to account for about 70% of the energy in the universe.

UTS David Burton 2007

Dark matter is required from the observed clumpiness of the universe and the observed motions of galaxies. It accounts for about 25% of the energy in the universe.

Its distribution in the universe can be mapped by inference from the observed motions of stars, galaxies and galaxy clusters.

In particular each galaxy is thought to be embedded in an “halo” or sphere of dark matter with filaments of dark matter connecting galaxies and galactic clusters to give a large scale “web” connecting all the matter in the universe (see Figure 1).

UTS David Burton 2007

Fig.1 Thus we are completely surrounded by dark matter, but it is invisible.

Jesus Resurrection

Celebrated: 3 Days after Crucifixion

It was the night before Easter in the year I turned sixteen. I was praying all night and begging God in tears for answers. Why had He created a world so filled with sorrow and despair?

My encounter with Jesus changed my life completely. His sorrowful expression was etched into my heart as if it had been branded there, and I could not think of anything else. From that day on, I immersed myself completely in the Word of God. /Biography SMM

Language in Spiritual World

Source: The Good guy

All speech (no matter what the language) has its origins in the ideas and emotions of our intellect and heart.

In the spiritual world—which is closer to the origins of our being and mind—individuals communicate their ideas and affections directly to others (forgoing terrestrial words).

Spiritual speech is like a psychical hologram, displaying all the views of one’s personal humanity. No one can lie on this interior level!

Inwardly, we are nothing other than what we think and desire—whether you believe in God or not.

We humans have also been designed to examine our thoughts and feelings so that we can determine our true nature and make refinements that are harmonious with our conscience.

According to scientist/theologian Emanuel Swedenborg, the human race was created solely to become receptive forms of God’s love and wisdom.

An electric bulb has a filament inside, and the more crooked it is the brighter light it will give; a straight filament will give only weak light.

A man who is sturdy in the love of God may look unattractive, but once the switch is on he will light up the entire world.

Light is the important thing.

When you become a divine spirit you no longer see the physical body; in spirit world the intensity of brightness of a person’s spirit will determine his attractiveness, not his external appearance.

The men who are pursuing God’s ideology and trying to obtain the true love of God are the noble men.

/SMM March 28, 1979

You learn in Divine Principle that we grow through stages. There is no ugliness in the perfection stage, and every divine spirit is a shining beauty.

You have a body and a mind.

Everything in the cosmos connects with that body and mind.

Spirit world contacts your mind and the physical world contacts your body, and a vertical line is formed in the center.

In the Orient there is a saying that a righteous person has a straight mind. It means that a person has a central vertical line where mind and body meet.

If such a person commits himself to something then he will fulfill it. Thought and action meet at that one line. /SMM November 14, 1999

Even when you go to the next world, you still have to deal with all those things you did wrong during your life…

You also have to supplement or add more to the life you are living now, moving towards the goals you have not yet accomplished in your path towards God — the path you are walking from the formation stage, through the growth and completion stages, towards God. One problem or task each day, one problem or task each year… you have to enact goodness in what you do, to make up for what you hadn’t accomplished.

That’s why no one can afford to have blockages, and why this path must be made flat and straight, like a freeway.

If you look at the history of restoration through indemnity, the Old Testament era is the world of the form spirit level, the New Testament era is the world of the life spirit level.

And that is how the spirit world is. Next, we have the world of the divine spirit level.

However, we need to remove all these things, all which has developed limited to the form of these kinds of stages. /SMM September 12, 2009

Since I am in a solemn position of having to fulfill the task I am called to do, which is to perfect that kingdom in accordance with the law,

I cannot do or think as I please.

I have come here today not thinking of myself as the founder of the Unification Church, the Messiah or the Lord at his second coming.

I should peel off the layers of indemnity.

The layers covering the world of form spirits, the Old Testament Age, must be uncovered and removed, as must the layers over the world of the life spirits, (the New Testament) and those covering the world of divine spirits.

You need to have the single-mindedness of the mother and father, of the son, of the husband and wife, of the children, of the siblings of your grandfather, of the siblings of your mother and father, and of your own siblings.

When all siblings achieve oneness, the unity of the four great realms of heart can begin.

There are four figures — one from the Old Testament Age, one from the New Testament Age, one from the Completed Testament Age, and one from the era of the realm of the heart of the fourth Adam.

The age of the right of inheritance has begun.

In this age, the prince and kingship of liberation and complete freedom that unites heaven and earth with the tens of thousands of religions in the realms of the form spirits, life spirits, divine spirits, and the resurrected world of the realm of heart can be extolled for eternity.

Please do not forget this.
