Clifton, NJ Family Church: Chain Fast for ACLC Pastors Summit Success

With so much sad news lately of conflict between the police and civilians, resulting in lives being lost, racial and ethnic tensions, and children in peril at our nation’s border, it can be easy to get discouraged about the state of our nation. We are not treating each as other as sons and daughters of God, and relating as one human family. And yet, God as our Heavenly Parent and True Mother as the Mother of Peace have far from given up on this nation and its citizens. True Parents believe that we can do better. They have been lovingly guiding America to fulfil its God-given destiny ever since their arrival in America in the 1970s, and have never stopped.

During the God Bless America Festival at Yankee Stadium True Father expressed, “True Americans are those who have a universal mind. True Americans are those who believe in one family of humankind, transcendent of color and nationality as willed by God. True Americans are proud of such international families, churches and nations consisting of all peoples.” (Mother of Peace, p.136) This message is just as relevant today as it was in the 70s. Our True Mother continues to guide us to come together as one human family by attending God as our Heavenly Parent, and living for the sake of others. Very soon we will have the blessing to receive True Mother in America again on June 5th at the virtual Peace and Blessing Festival.

Now is the time for all of us to prepare to welcome our beloved True Mother to America, with our hearts wide open and bring the best gifts that we have to offer. I want to encourage everyone to participate in our national 40 Days to Welcome True Mother condition. Please consider also attending the SR1 Welcoming True Mother Activation Meetup this Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm to learn more about what you can do to participate in God’s Providence in America at this time.

I want to also encourage everyone to participate in the Special Great Works tomorrow morning and hear directly from True Mother and receive the grace prepared by Heaven especially for us. Please see the recent memo for more information about how to register to participate if you have not already. Also, I hope you will join us in-person or virtually for our bi-weekly Sunday Service at the Clifton Family Church this Sunday at 9:30am.

Despite the challenges our society is facing we can be a force for good at this time in history. We can be the ones conveying God’s love and blessings to our friends, neighbors and community members. Through us God can claim this nation as a Heavenly nation.

June 5th at 6pm | Virtual Celebration

Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and guests to be inspired by the message of True Mother

This Sunday, May 2nd we’re excited to welcome you back to our Clifton Family Church either in-person or virtually for our Local Sunday Service at 9:30am. Doors open at 9:00am.

Sunday school will also be offered during the service. There will be fellowship with complimentary refreshments in the courtyard after service, and baked goods and boba tea will be available for purchase as a fundraiser for GO.

All seating will be socially distanced, and masks will be required for entry. For the safety of all attendees, please remain at home if you do not feel well on the day of the service.

Sunday Craft: Create a Mother’s Day Portrait

After service, in collaboration with HJ Cafe, all are invited to draw or paint a picture of their mother or picture of True Mother, a Spiritual Mother, Aunt, or Mother Figure. There will also be an option to create a Mother’s Day Card.

This Sunday at 1:30pm we will be meeting together as a Northeast subregion to go over details of the upcoming June 5th Festival to welcome True Mother to America, and how we can support. There will also be details shared about our Pastors’ Summit happening on Thu May 13, Fri May 14, and how we can all unite to support our Clergy. This meeting will go on from 1:30pm - 2pm.

Chain Fast for ACLC Pastors Summit Success Subregion 1 ACLC will be offering a 21 day chain fast from now until the ACLC Pastor’s Summit on May 13 & 14th for the victory of the Summit! We are fasting midnight to midnight each day.

Shehaqua Family Camp Registration is Open! Join Shehaqua Family Camp this summer for a spiritually enriching experience for the whole family through the beauty of nature, education by age group, fun and fellowship of sports, crafts, music and social activities in the safety of the outdoors.

What sets Shehaqua Family Camp apart from most other camps is that it is designed for the whole family, not just children or youth of a certain age. While presentations, discussions, and some of the activities are separated by age groups, there are many activities that the family can enjoy together. Families also have a chance to bond among each other, creating a community that feels like an extended family—with many aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.

There are three programs to choose from: • Week 1 (July 18 - July 23) • Family Camp Weekend (July 23 - July 26) • Week 2 (July 26 - July 31)
