Clifton, NJ Family Church: The sad incident at the Capitol - New Member Ed — De Geode

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Amidst the intensity of what our nation faces, I greet you with love and blessings, and in the peaceful and loving spirit of our beloved True Parents. This first week of the year has not been without its’ troubles. The sad and shocking incident at our nation’s Capitol on Wednesday makes us painfully aware of just how divided our nation has become, and how critically we need a way to come together centered on a higher purpose, and shared values. The vision and teachings of our True Parents have much to offer in these troubled times.

This week the international HQ kicked off the new year with a virtual Cheon Il Guk Leaders Assembly. Over the course of two days, meeting from 4:00-8:00am each day, and last night we were able to hear the incredible victories of the last year and future plans and determinations of our community’s top leadership worldwide, representing each region of the world. The program concluded with a brief but loving message from True Mother.

I was inspired to hear that even in the midst of the pandemic over the last year so much good has been done by our brothers and sisters around the world, centered on True Mother. I plan to share more once we have received more information from our national leadership about the vision and plans for our region. But for now I just want to share that our True Mother loves us, and showers her blessings upon us, and hopes to see us follow her example and live lives for the sake of others, that bring us all closer to realizing the world of peace that God and humanity long for.
