Who is the Marriage Blessing for? “We cannot establish the ideal of heaven without marriage and the family. In the Unification Church, the purpose for all the good men and good women receiving the Blessing is to build the ideal of the Kingdom of Heaven. Not only unmarried people, but also people already married who have the correct standard must get the Blessing. Path to the Marriage Blessing for Married Couples Step One: Become a Pre-Blessed Couple ● —Receive Divine Principle and Marriage Blessing Education ● —Make a small offering for the cost of the ceremony (determined by community) ● —Participate in the Holy Wine Celebration ● —Participate in the Holy Marriage Blessing Celebration

Step Two: Become a Blessed Couple ● Online registration to become a Blessed Couple— ● —Blessing Offering (minimum of $210 with a heart to offer $2000 per couple) ● —Participate in the Chastening Ceremony ● —40-Day Holy Separation Period ● —Three-Day Deremony of Renewal *These two steps can be done back to back or over a period of time as the couple receives more education
