Purpose(s) of the Retreat The purpose of the Unificationist 24+ Singles Retreat is to provide an opportunity for single members of the Unificationist community between the ages of 24-39 to spend a weekend connecting/reconnecting with each other in honor of their shared identities and history, and meet potential marriage partners. Through the retreat, participants will have the opportunity to: foster new/renewed friendships, awaken/strengthen their connection to God and their family, meet other singles their age, and get to better know each other, as well as, themselves. All participants must be single and must be between the ages of 24-39. All First gen, Jacob gen and Blessed Children that fit the previous description are welcome. The aim of the Singles Retreat is not to change the mind, opinions, heart, faith or preferences of any participant. Although participants do not have to strictly identify themselves as Unificationists, it is hoped that retreat participants will be interested and open to meeting other singles and, or finding a marriage partner with shared values, goals and faith experience.
