Deadlines, Applications for the Foundation Day Blessing

Please be advised that the deadline to complete the online Registration for the Blessing for participants in the February 12, 2014 Blessing Ceremony in Korea is THIS Sunday, January 19th. The BFD staff in Korea will be reserving hotel rooms, meals, transportation and event tickets based on the number of completed registrations reported to them. The final report to Korea of participants in the Blessing Ceremony in Korea will be sent on January 20th.

Sunday, February 2nd is the deadline to complete the online Registration for the Blessing for those who will remain in the U.S. to participate in their local community’s or District’s Blessing Ceremony on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.

Registrations can be completed at fs6.formsite.com/hsauwc/matching_blessing_app/form_login.html. Applicants will need to submit the following important items to complete their registration:

-- Matching Report — Health Form and STD Test Results/Waiver Form — Signature Page of Purity Interview Form — Level 3 Blessing Education Certificate — Flight Information (if traveling to Korea) — Blessing Payment

Important Information about the Blessing in Korea

Arrangements for Family Members: We recently learned that the Korean BFD staff members are able to arrange accommodations, meals, transportation, and program tickets for family members of Blessing participants who will travel to Korea to celebrate the Blessing. The cost will be approximately $50 per day per family member, and will be paid in Korea (all costs will be covered for Blessing participants by their Blessing payment). Family members of Blessing participants that will attend the Blessing in Korea should send an email with the subject “Family Member Attending the Blessing” to BFMadmin@ unification.org by January 19th and provide the following information for each family member that will be in Korea with you:

-- First and last name — Gender — Blessing participant related to and relationship to the participant — Flight information (arrival and departure time and airline)

Accommodations: Blessing participants and their family members will stay in hotel rooms with 3-5 members of the same gender. Bedding will be provided.

Meals: Most meals will be served at the hotel.

Attire for Brides: White wedding dress. Bouquets, veils and flowers will be provided.

Attire for Grooms: Dark suit (blue or black), white shirt and red tie.

Blessing Rings: 14K gold official Blessing rings with a diamond embedded will be available for purchase at approximately $445 each for men and women.
