New Marriage Enrichment Webinar Series for UC Families

We are excited to announce a new monthly webinar series to enrich, empower and strengthen marriages and relationships. Each month the FFWPU- USA Blessing and Family Ministry will be offering a Marriage Enrichment Webinar. Each webinar will provide practical tools to help married couples strengthen and deepen their relationship with one another.

Webinars will take place on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 9:00 – 10:00 PM EST (6:00 – 7:00 PST). Any engaged, married or Blessed couple, regardless of how long they have been together, can benefit from marriage enrichment. Each webinar in the series will include a 40-minute presentation from a professional marriage and family educator or counselor from the Unification community, followed by a 20-minute Q & A session. Each month will feature a different presenter and topic.

Webinar topics may include communication skills, conflict resolution, enhancing intimacy, forgiveness and healing, and spiritual growth as a married couple.

The first presentation in the series will be on “Empathetic Listening: the #1 Communication Skill for Strengthening Your Marriage and All Your Relationships.” It will be presented by Bento Leal, MRE, a certified Marriage and Relationship Educator with the California Healthy Marriages Coalition. Bento has taught communication skills to more than 2000 individuals and couples in California since 2005, and conducted facilitator trainings at UTS in Barrytown in 2009, and UTS in NYC in 2011.

Webinar participants should have a computer with a headset or microphone and speakers, and online access to see and hear the presentation, videos, and discussion.
