My podcast: Reverend Moon Radio - We broadcast and recorded over 300 shows

Several years ago, some of you may remember this, I started an internet “radio show” (podcast in today’s vernacular) it was called “Reverend Moon Radio”. I had a co-host “Tony” we sometimes had guests, who would call in, and discuss various topics related to Rev. Moon’s life and work. We would also play different kinds of music relating to some of the emotional content and mood that we wanted to express.

The purpose of the show was simply…to put it out there…from the heart, discussion of Rev Moon’s teaching, life and work. The show was broadcast on an internet platform that allowed for free live video broadcasting (pre-live Facebook) called UStream, not sure if they are around anymore. We broadcast and recorded over 300 shows, during the time we did it. Many times we connected our content with national and world events happening at the time. We didn’t have a huge following but we would regularly have from two or three hundred listeners/viewers.

Due to the ability to broadcast from anywhere on a laptop with a webcam we occasionally broadcast from remote locations. A special memory was while visiting El Salvador with a friend, we broadcast from the local church center and even had the center director at the time, on the show. The final broadcast was upon learning of the passing of Rev Moon. Here is a recording of that abbreviated show. The background song, is an original I wrote and recorded called “Live for Others”
