10TH WORLD CARP JAPAN PROJECT REPORT 2019 Mieko Davies - October 5, 2019 This year we had a new project - WakuWaku (Living as an Owner of Cheon II Guk: Self Pastoral Care Programme), a new and very successful education project from Japan and WakuWaku witnessing, Ocean Challenge, visits to True Parents’ providential places, Peace Road Project and service projects. All together 10 people attended this project, six 2nd Gens and four 1st Gens.

ONE DAY SEMINAR LIVING AS AN OWNER OF CHEON II GUK: SELF PASTORAL CARE IN ENGLISH. Why was it painful to have been saved by Divine Principle?

Why can’t I remove fallen nature even after being blessed?

Why do we feel Anxiety, Fear or Worry?

How can we find our true ‘myself’ and become owners of CIG with the practice of true love.

As you know our organization has a bad image in Japan but the witnessing is successful in Tokyo now!!

Especially 2nd Gens and 3rd Gens are doing witnessing and get the best results.

Leaders from many nations come to Tokyo and learn and incorporate it into education for juniors and blessed families.

In Japan this education system will become the official education content of FFWPU.

COMMENTS FROM 1ST GEN We started to experience what is our original state of true self and mind.

Through the teaching I could understand more deeply about the meaning of “High noon settlement” also True Mother’s speech when she said “How can mind and body unite within oneself? For this to happen, you must let go of everything…You must let go of all preconceptions…”

The teaching helps us to know how to practice the Divine Principle in our daily life. The works / activities / exercises / trainings of teaching are helpful in order to solve many kinds of challenges, problems and situations of 1st, 2nd generations and all others. If we understand well and practice well, we could build a beautiful relationship between mind and body in oneself, between husband and wife and parents and children.

I understand this self-pastoral program can lead every person to become happy and live in peace on this earth as the owner of Cheon Il Guk.

COMMENTS FROM 2ND GEN Divine Principle education can be damaging and judgemental when tau ght in an unhealthy manner.

But a person’s conscience is never judgemental.

I hope to develop the method for European 2 nd Gen.

COMMENTS FROM 1ST GEN We participated in the 1 day Wakuwaku seminar (living as an Owner of Cheon II Guk: Self Pastoral Care Program)

I attended the online testimony meeting every morning and I felt it is and important practice. so, I think through self-pastoral training and practice we can live in Chong Ill Guk.

I feel strongly that it is important education content for 1 and 2 nd Gens alike. I hope that even if little by little, there will be a heavenly kingdom in the home and church that will expand to become Cheon Il Guk.

OCEAN CHALLENGE IN KYUSYU, NOCO ISLAND. Through Ocean Challenge I expected the participants would understand True Father’s vision and heart for the Ocean.

PEACE ROAD PROJECT AND VISIT TO THE TUNNEL OF INTERNATIONAL HIGHWAY. (Mr Jim Rogers invested in this project a few month ago)

The reason we wanted to show providential places to 2 nd Gens is to better understand True Father and his vision and providence.

FROM 1ST GEN We wanted to visit the Japan - Korea tunnel for the International Highway which True Father started a long time ago .

I think that European members had a very valuable experience. The last program was Ocean Challenge on the island of Noko in the Genkai Channel which is where Japan and Korea are the closest to each other. True Father sent the missionaries across this channel for the Japanese and Heavenly providence with True Father’s prayer with tears.

Everyone was able to catch several fish the captain was inspired that the young people have a special good fortune. I strongly felt that we can’t understand True Parents without understanding the providence so I really appreciated visiting these providential places.
