J-CARP Connect Project 2013 – Limited Spaces

Are you a university student or 18 to 30 years old?

Would you like to visit World-Carp-Japan over the summer holidays?

The project will be taking place for the fourth year running.

You will be living with Japanese CARP members, having the opportunity to experience Japanese culture as well as understand the Principle from the position of a student

Programme duration: 23th June – 20th July 2013 (arrive by 22rd June)

(Requests to arrive earlier and stay for longer can be discussed)

For the first three weeks, you will be living alongside CARP members in Tokyo, and taking part in activities such as teaching English, witnessing, helping with workshops etc. – depending on where you are located.

In the final week, you will be sightseeing around Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Lodging will be in CARP houses at these locations.

This is the basic schedule organised, but ideas and suggestions are welcome.

£1000 will cover: Flights, JR Pass £190(Japanese Rail Pass), Lodging for sightseeing (6000 yen for 6 days)

Lodging and food will be organised by CARP for the three weeks.

England-Japan-England – Flight cost – approximately £650

England-Japan-Korea-England- Flight cost-approximately £850 (Korean Airways, Asiana)

There are limited vacancies this year. Early booking is vital!

Please include,your name, age, nationality, preferred days of arrival and departure, whether you will need a return ticket or ticket including a visit to Korea, and a photo of identification. An official form will be sent to you after this.
