If you are an early-career professional with an advanced degree in science or engineering and are eager to pioneer innovative approaches in restoring and protecting the health of our planet, we are offering an exciting opportunity for you to pursue your calling while being employed full-time. The successful candidate will have the position of Assistant or Associate Research Director and will work in the Washington, DC, office of the Hyo Jeong International Foundation for the Unity of the Sciences (HJIFUS). This foundation, established under the vision of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, is dedicated to the mission of identifying and advancing the most significant scientific solutions to environmental problems on a global scale.

The person will keep abreast of the latest trends in scientific theories and technologies that address environmental challenges, and help identify, promote, and manage 3–5 “champion” solutions in areas such as agriculture, energy production, pollution cleanup, and waste control, thereby bringing hope to the future of the Earth. Possessing strong communication skills in English, he/she will establish and maintain professional relationships with scientists and scholars in these areas, help organize conferences (such as ICUS), and publicize the solutions to policymakers. This work will include writing and editing the foundation’s literature and updating its website.
