Schedule for participating in the Special 40-Day Prayer Condition for True Father

Thank you for your prayers and Jeong Seong for our True Parents. Even though True Father’s condition remains critical, we are anticipating his full recovery. True Father is a fighter and we are confident that he will pull through.

I would like to recommend that we pray in unity as a nation through a 24-hour chain prayer during the 40- day jeonseong period beginning August 16 and ending September 24. Through this prayer condition, we can send True Father our support and feel connected as one family in our love for True Parents.

The prayer times are divided among the Districts according to the chart shown below. The two-hour time slots should be followed according to Eastern Standard Time (EST). If you are living in California (District 12), the 14:00 EST to 16:00 EST time slot on Day 2 would be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM PST.

Each District can decide their own format for the prayer. In every moment, someone’s heart will be lifted up to God and True Parents and there can be continuous prayer to support True Father.

We are also offering a 3-day fast commencing at midnight on Friday, August 17 and ending at midnight on Sunday, August 19. You may choose an alternative condition, according to your circumstances.
