Congratulations to Archbishop Ki Hoon Kim on His New Mission

We are grateful to be able to announce that our beloved elder brother and longtime church leader in America, Archbishop Ki Hoon Kim, has been appointed by our True Parents and our International President as Regional President of North America II (Canada).

Our entire American church congratulates Archbishop Kim and his family and wishes him great success in his new mission.

Archbishop Kim and his family have served our True Parents with absolute faith, love and obedience for decades and since coming to America, he has brought great victory for this nation and has the love and respect of all of the American Blessed Central Families as well as our ACLC clergy and Ambassadors for Peace.

True Parents assigned Archbishop Kim to his first mission in America in 1977 as KEA Pastor in Chicago where he served for nine years. From 1986 through 2007, he served as Region Director in Minneapolis, New Jersey, New York and Chicago. He was Chairman of the American Clergy Leadership Conference from 2007 through 2009 and Regional President of North America 1 (USA and Bahamas) and Chairman of UPF USA in 2009 and 2010. He has earned his Masters of Divinity Degree from UTS and received an Honorary Doctorate of Theology from Sun Moon University. In 2009, True Parents appointed him as Archbishop. During the past two years, Archbishop Kim has worked under True Parents’ direction as an Itinerant Worker in North America 1.

Now that Archbishop Kim is going to Canada, we will see a time of unprecedented cooperation and unity between America and Canada centering on the direction of our True Parents, leading up to Foundation Day.
