May the love and blessings of our Heavenly Parent and our True Parents be with all of our families in America.

Our True Parents have returned to Korea after spending the month of February in Las Vegas. They are deeply grateful to our Sr. Pastor, Reverend In Jin Moon, for her leadership and to all of our families in America for their absolute unity and love and support of our True Parents. They are very happy that the Little Angels’ world tour commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Korean War could conclude so victoriously here in the United States. The spectacular grand finale event took place in Las Vegas on February 18th where 3,000 people were in attendance and celebrated True Parents birthday together with them.

Now, as we have entered the month of March and the second month of 2012 by the Heavenly calendar, we are all preparing, together with True Parents and True Children, for True Parents’ Cosmic Blessing Ceremony which will take place in Korea on March 24th (3.3 by the Heavenly calendar).

In addition, True Parents have given the direction that “All members of the Unification community should devote themselves to witnessing for the sake of the restoration of their tribes until Foundation Day on January 13th, 2013 (February 22nd by the solar calendar).” In order to respond to this direction coming from our True Parents and International President, Reverend Hyung Jin Moon, our Sr. Pastor is encouraging all families in America to join together in a national witnessing initiative beginning Sunday, March 4th until Foundation Day.

International Witnessing Initiative

Based on True Parents’ direction, the attached memo from the World Mission Headquarters provides guidelines for a special witnessing activity period for all Blessed Families throughout the world. The purpose of this special period is for all Unification Church members to devote themselves to witnessing and to the Blessing. True Parents’ desire is for each family is to gain at least 12 spiritual children and to bring at least 3 couples to the Blessing. We would like to suggest that each family strive to bring one couple to the upcoming Blessing in March and prepare other couples for the Blessing in 2013.

The suggestion for each family’s activities is as follows:

1. Make a list of all of your family members and friends to whom you wish to witness and offer prayer and devotion daily for those people.

2. Read True Parents’ words for Hoon Dok Hae at least 30 minutes every day and attend workshops or give lectures on the Original Substance of the Divine Principle.

3. Fulfill the family condition to distribute 430 copies of True Father’s Autobiography in conjunction with witnessing efforts.

First 120 Days

Here in America, in beginning this historic period, we would like to launch a 120-day witnessing condition from March 4th to July 4th. Actually, the 120 days concludes on July 1st, the 30th anniversary of the 8,000 Couples’ Blessing, but we will extend the condition for three additional days until July 4th, America’s Independence Day.

In Lovin’ Life Ministries, our focus and priority for 2012 is church growth. As we approach the third anniversary of Lovin’ Life on Easter Sunday, April 15th, we thank God that, under the leadership of our True Parents and Rev. In Jin Moon, we have created a beautiful and growing national ministry that is now in a position to reach all of America with the “breaking news” of our True Parents and the life-changing news of the Blessing. With this in mind, let’s work together as one family and through natural witnessing invite our families and friends to church on Sunday, encouraging them to become a part of this exciting ministry.

Las Vegas Opportunity

From March 4th through July 4th (and until Foundation day), our pastors will help families reach out and find spiritual children in each of our church locations throughout America. Additionally, during this 120- day period, there will be a special opportunity in Las Vegas. Last year at this time, families from across America went there and fulfilled True Parents’ direction to distribute 120,000 copies of True Father’s Autobiography. This year, our families can go again to find their spiritual children and help build Lovin’ Life Ministries in the place closest to True Parents’ heart. Our pastoral team, centered on Rev. Brothers and Sister, we’ve been given a special blessing from Heaven to find spiritual children and welcome them into the lineage of God and True Parents through the Blessing. From this Sunday, let’s March forth to Foundation Day in every Lovin’ Life church community across America!

May God and True Parents’ blessings and love be with all regions, mission nations and providential organizations. True Parents’ emphasis that “All members of the Unification community should devote themselves to witnessing for the sake of the restoration of their tribes until Foundation Day in 2013” was conveyed through an official memo sent out on 10.8 by the heavenly calendar in the 2nd year of Cheon-gi entitled, “True Parents’ special instructions on strengthening tribal messiah activities” (refer to official memo WMH 2011-92). On 3.3 by the heavenly calendar in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi, the True Parents’ Cosmic Blessing Ceremony (working title) will be held at the Cheongshim Peace World Center in Cheongpyeong, Korea, with True Parents as the officiators. In preparation for this Blessing and to welcome Foundation Day, this is to announce a special mobilization activity period for all blessed families. Regional presidents and church leaders of all levels should do their utmost in sincerity to have all blessed families take part in these activities.

Special Mobilization Activities for All Blessed Families

1. Purpose 1) To have all members of the Unification community devote themselves to witnessing for the sake of the restoration of their tribes until Foundation Day in 2013 2) To achieve victory for the True Parents’ Cosmic Blessing Ceremony (working title) 3) To convey Heaven’s blessings to one’s tribe and neighbors through the Ceremony to Bequeath the Holy Candles for the Establishment of the Heavenly Kingdom (All regions excluding Korea and Japan can begin this activity after the Blessing Ceremony in March)

2. Overview 1) Theme: Let us be victorious in the Blessing in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi, the last year in preparation for Foundation Day! 2) Duration: From 1.28 by the heavenly calendar in the 3rd year of Cheon-gi (February 19, 2012) until Foundation Day 3) Goals (1) Goal for Foundation Day, for each blessed family: To secure at least twelve spiritual children, and to bring at least three couples to the Blessing

(2) Goal for the March Blessing, for each blessed family: To find at least three spiritual children, and to bring at least one couple to the Blessing

3. Activity guidelines

1) Foundation of Jeongseong (1) Make a list of twelve guests who you wish to witness, and offer jeongseong while visualizing these twelve guests being connected to the church and receiving the blessing. (2) When offering gyeongbae jeongseong, each gyeongbae should be offered with the heart of fulfilling one’s individual goal, the goal of the church, and the overall goal for the Unification family as a whole. 2) Foundation of the Word (1) Do at least thirty minutes of hoondok reading every day of True Parents’ words using the eight great textbooks and teaching materials. (2) Divine Principle lectures should be held at the churches or centers every day for at least 21-days; members should be encouraged to give lectures and invite new guests to hear these lectures. 3) Foundation in Practice (1) Members should engage in distributing True Father’s autobiography and witnessing efforts at the churches or centers for more than three hours each day. (2) All guests who are connected through these efforts should be invited to Divine Principle Revival Meetings and later to Divine Principle lectures held at the churches or centers.

4. Other administrative matters Regional headquarters should have each mission nation set their goals according to the goals described in ‘2. Overview’ above. Regional headquarters should use the attached form in compiling the goals and submit a completed form by February 29, 2012.

Witnessing Campaign Las Vegas 2012 Finding Spiritual Children in Las Vegas LOVIN’ LIFE MINISTRIES Las Vegas! Yeah! You‘ll probably want to know what is going on here, so let us update you. We have been asked to grow our church, and grow fast.

LOVIN’ LIFE MINISTRIES offers a great platform to witness to so it’s important to plug in! This is what we will be inviting people to in Las Vegas:

 Sunday Service (the main EVENT)  International Culture Night (our midweek program)  The Journey (Educational Growth Small Group)  Other Small Groups

By participating in these programs and by inviting our guests to them we have all the elements to Inspire, Empower, Connect and Contribute. We can lead people naturally to the Blessing. We are inviting people to Lovin’ Life Ministries.

Guidelines for Participation in the Witnessing Campaign in Las Vegas:

1. People coming from out of town need to register for this campaign. (online registration available soon) 2. All members are encouraged participate in the local ministry. Especially the Lovin’ Life Sunday Service, Culture Night, The Journey and another small group of choice. This is VERY important and will become the basis for your confidence in inviting new guests to our programs. 3. Main emphasis will be on inviting people to come to our Sunday Service. 4. Witnessing materials will be taylor made to use for outreach. The main tool will be a Ticket to invite to Theater Church. Tickets can be purchased by members for $1 each. All proceeds will go towards the local ministry to support the growth of your spiritual children 5. Online support will be offered for: Guideline updates, Recording guest names, Reporting etc. 6. You will be responsible for your own transportation and accommodation. Info on accommodation below. 7. Courteous. We are moving to a new location for our Sunday Service, so let’s all make an effort to represent TP with the utmost preparation. Look/Dress/Act nice! 8. All witnessers may be invited to come together for regular meetings/reflections. Please standby for location and times.

Lodging LEONARD LANE: Currently being remodeled and we cannot accommodate anyone there until renovations are complete. It may take until June before renovations are complete. HOTELS: Budget Suites or Emerald Suites ($250-380/week for multiple occupancy) on Las Vegas Blvd south of the Strip. Wait for more info soon or make your plans through web search. HOME-STAY: Individual volunteers may be able to stay with local families and work with them in their home area for outreach. We will post updates on that.
