True Parents' Declaration for Our Families Worldwide

May the love and blessings of our Heavenly Parent and our True Parents be with you and with your families.

Happy Memorial Day. Let us remember in prayer all of our veterans who have served and sacrificed (and those who still are) for their country throughout our history, for the cause of liberty under God. We pray for all of the families whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice and have given their lives in the line of duty. Our prayers are with all those who are even now risking their lives on the front lines around the world to bring lasting peace.

On behalf of our True Parents, our international President, Rev. Dr. Hyung Jin Moon and our Senior Pastor and President in America, Rev. In Jin Moon, I would like to thank all of our families and brothers and sisters across America who helped to make the weekend of May 21-22 in Las Vegas such a great success and historic victory. Our heart was to prepare a great offering in Las Vegas to welcome True Parents home from their incredible European tour of eight nations. A total of 3,000 participants attended our Father’s speech event at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 21 and heard his powerful message to the world. For the first time in Las Vegas, a Charity Slot Tournament was held that morning by our church, with $70,000 being donated to local Las Vegas charities. The tournament had 300 participants and True Parents themselves presented the checks to the charity representatives. That evening, a Gala Banquet and concert (featuring Sonic Cult) and ballroom dancing was held for an overflow crowd of 1,300. Finally, the next morning, 2,000 packed the Aria Bristlecone Ballroom for the Lovin’ Life Sunday Service, featuring the beautiful and powerful sermon of Rev. In Jin Moon.

This victory was the result of an incredible nationwide team effort and we thank our District Pastors and leaders of UPF, ACLC, WFWP, KODAN and CARP for their great work in bringing the nation together with our True Parents. An historic world-level Original Divine Principle Workshop was held at the same time, where some 600 representatives and leaders from America and the world gathered to hear the ODP content from Rev. Eu. True Parents are asking that we hold continuous ODP workshops in Las Vegas, which is becoming the world headquarters and center of the cosmos for True Parents.

Without your help, your offerings, your participation none of this would be possible. Centering on the amazing leadership of Rev. In Jin Moon, America is bringing great joy to God and True Parents, and we will continue to respond in ever-increasing ways to True Parents’ directions with absolute faith, love and obedience; working toward the total victory which will come on Foundation Day. January 13, 2013. Our second National 40-Day Prayer Condition for Unity ended victoriously, coinciding with True Parents’ historic event in Las Vegas. We will begin a third condition soon and will keep you all informed.

At the same time, True Parents are very distressed and appalled at the continuing rebellious and outrageous actions which are being carried out by those who are controlling UCI, including the recent

sale of the Sheraton National Hotel, which True Parents have considered as a residence and where many historic providential activities (including the Blessing) have been carried out. This is a great tragedy and heartbreak for our True Parents and for all of our blessed families. It is only the latest in a string of such actions that have been carried out by UCI.

In response to this, True Parents issued a Declaration on May 25 that is published and attached here for all blessed families and members to read and abide by.

Please pray for our True Parents as they return to Korea. We pray that their hearts can be healed and that those who are responsible for breaking their hearts can come to their senses, wake up from their spiritual sleep, repent before Heaven and receive forgiveness. We appeal especially to our American brothers and sisters who have served True Parents for most of their lives to have the courage to stand for righteousness and for the truth and to return all that belongs to True Parents and to our worldwide church to its rightful owners.

May the grace and love of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind be with all regions, nations, providential organizations and blessed families.

True Parents successfully completed a ten-nation speaking tour covering Korea, Europe, the Middle East and the United States during the past month starting from April 24, for the purpose of creating a victorious foundation for the providential Foundation Day of Cheon Il Guk on January 13, 2013. Even now, they are investing themselves completely at the forefront of the providence, day and night.

The leaders of the current UCI have capriciously made use of public assets against the will and direction of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and in contradiction of the tradition of the Unification movement which we have solemnly upheld to this day centering on True Parents. This conduct has repeatedly caused True Parents concern over a long period of time.

In order to bring a resolution to this situation in accordance with the Principle, and from their deep love, True Parents gave the following declaration on the 23rd day of the 4th month by the heavenly calendar (May 25, 2011) to the Unification Church worldwide and all blessed families and members in the spirit world and physical world, particularly to our members involved with UCI. All leaders should engrave the words of True Parents’ declaration in their hearts and guide members in accordance with True Parents’ heart and words.

DECLARATION BY THE TRUE PARENTS

We hereby instruct as follows to all Tongilgyo (Unification Church) blessed families and members throughout the world in the spirit world and the physical world, particularly those under the direction of UCI.

First, all members are not to forget that they must obey absolutely all directions and commands of the True Parents, who are the only True Parents in the world for all perpetuity and eternity. This is the eternal tradition and faith of the Unification Church. This applies cosmically to True Children in the same way that it does to the general membership.

Second, we instruct Hyun Jin Moon and other members of the UCI Board of Directors to step down from that board immediately. True Parents, who are the founders of UCI, will form the UCI board anew in its entirety, and put into proper order and manage all related organizations. We have already instructed that UCI be recovered, and, as the persons responsible for the cosmos, we have authorized and fully support the legal action that has been filed to accomplish this. If our instructions in this document are followed, however, we will have the court action stopped immediately.

Third, we instruct Hyun Jin Moon and other members of the UCI Board of Directors, also Chung Hwan Kwak (former UCI Board chairman, Hyun Jin Moon’s father-in-law) and his family and relatives, to return to True Parents, who are the founders, all rights related to the ongoing construction project to develop the Yeouido Holy Land in Korea. The plan will be reestablished and the development will take place on a providential dimension.

Fourth, we instruct Hyun Jin Moon and other members of the UCI Board of Directors to cease all other legal proceedings now being conducted under the direction of UCI, and to return to True Parents all property being held as a result of the disposition of public assets not approved by True Parents. All such property will be used publicly to accomplish the providence of God.

We issue these instructions to the entire world as the Founders of Tongilgyo (Unification Church) and all related organizations and institutions, and in the names of the husband and wife Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han Moon, who are the True Parents. Our desire is that all persons properly obey these points for all eternity.
