Spring Quarter Launch & New 40-Day Prayer

Dear Brothers and Sisters, May the love and blessings of our Heavenly Parent and our True Parents be with you and with your families.

We just completed a very powerful and transforming national workshop in New York entitled, “Let’s Inherit True Parents’ Life and Teachings”. Our International President, Rev. Hyung Jin Moon, has asked that this special education about the Life Course and Teaching of our True Parents be given to all of our church leadership and blessed families around the world. Rev. In Jin Moon invited all District Pastors, State Pastors, Youth Pastors, Headquarters and Organizational leaders and Blessed Family members to take part in this historic workshop, which was held at the Lovin’ Life Learning Center on April 7 and 8.

Over 150 attended and were blessed to hear the lectures on True Parents’ Life Course from Rev. Jin Hun Yong, who is the Director of Education in our World Mission Department in Korea. Rev. Yong has done extensive research and conducted hundreds of hours of personal interviews with key people who played important roles in the life course of our True Parents. For this reason, many precious insights were shared that even the most senior members of our community were not aware of. We all truly felt that we were living and walking with our True Parents during the course of this workshop experience.

Rev. In Jin Moon has asked that a transcript of the entire workshop be made and that we make it available to all brothers and sisters. In addition, all of our church pastors are inspired to learn to teach this content and present it to our congregations across America. This will have an extraordinary impact on First and Second Generation members alike. As you know, this is a very important weekend for our Lovin’ Life communities across America, in that we are beginning our third year officially with the Launch Pad initiative in all of your churches. We truly hope that you have a wonderful and inspiring Lovin’ Life Sunday Service tomorrow and that your congregation can take ownership over the building of the Lovin’ Life Living Ministry. As our senior pastor said last Sunday, 222 new members have joined our church community in America over the last six-nine months and we are now poised and positioned to be able to welcome thousands more to our family in the coming year. Please freely invite your guests and contacts to attend our Sunday service and to take part in our educational and cultural programs. Working together, centering on our True Parents and our International President, with the guidance and vision of our Senior Pastor, we will be successful and accomplish extraordinary things in this third year! Thank you for participating in the first National 40-Day Prayer Condition for Unity and Victory in America, which concluded Sunday, April 3. We are now beginning the second National 40-Day Prayer Condition tomorrow, April 10. It will go until May 19. We have attached the Prayer Condition here in a Word file, which we ask you to print out and keep by your prayer altar. Please take time each day to offer

prayer with your family and to read Hoon Dok Hae together as a family. True Parents strongly encourage all of us to do Hoon Dok Hae consistently with our family. The power of the Word to keep us vertically connected with God and True Parents cannot be overstated. 2nd 40-Day Prayer Condition for National Unity and Victory Sunday, April 10 – Thursday, May 19

Please offer the following prayer points daily with your family:

1. For the health and safety of our True Parents, True Children and members of the True Family, and for our absolute unity with True Parents’ words and direction.

2. For the success of the worldwide mission of our International President, Reverend Hyung Jin Moon.

3. For the success of Lovin’ Life Ministries under the guidance of our True Parents and our Senior Pastor, Reverend In Jin Moon, during this historic third year, to bring about the substantial growth and development of our American Church through healthy families and new members.

4. For every brother and sister to contribute to the success of the Spring Quarter through a personal ministry of sharing the “breaking news” with others and enabling every American to receive True Parents.

5. For all District and State Pastors to lead with wisdom and a heart of service toward every brother and sister so that together we can make a beautiful offering of unity with our True Parents.

6. For the successful distribution of True Father’s Autobiography in Las Vegas (120,000 copies) and throughout America (430 copies per family).

7. For the strengthening of our Blessed Families, the empowerment of all Blessed Children to inherit True Parents’ tradition, and the expansion of the Blessing in America.
