The Passing of Kenshu Morita

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Kenshu Morita, the 3rd son of Kazuya and Yelena Morita, passed away into the spirit world at 8:41pm (Pacific Time) on Sunday, October 3rd. After a series of chemotherapy treatments during the past several months, the doctors at UCSF Children’s Hospital decided to proceed to the bone marrow transplant. On Sunday morning however, his internal bleeding became out of control. According to Rev. Thompson, Kenshu was peacefully smiling to his parents as he passed away a few hours later.

Mr. Kazuya Morita has been a highly dedicated member of the STF program core staff for the last eight years. He transitioned from that mission in January 2010, and was actually preparing to launch a local 2nd Generation training program in the Bay Area working closely with Rev. Thompson, when his son’s health complications intervened. He is respected by many STF members, parents and staff for his dedication and sincerity, com-mitment to care for Blessed Children, and his passion for the Divine Principle. Yelena also supported the STF by taking care of the STF staff members’ children while she stayed at home with her older children, Seung-Se (now 11 years old) and Dinis (8 years old). The Seung Hwa ceremony will take place at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 7th, at the Bay Area Family Church, followed by the Won Jeon Ceremony the following day.
