Simon Cooper resigns vice directorship of FFWPU-UK

I would like to announce that Simon Cooper has requested to step down as one of the two vice directors of FFWPU-UK.

When I became FFWPU-UK director in April 2012, I asked that he take the position of vice director together with David Earle. However, Simon has had to take a part-time job in order to supplement his pastoral income and, as he is the father of five children as well as pastor of the West London Community, he and Chieko felt it would be better if he limits his public responsibilities and gives his main focus to the development of his Community.

I have appreciated Simon’s honesty, sincerity and willingness to think in new directions about our Movement and will continue to value his input in the future.

Finally, I want to express my thanks to Simon and Chieko for their commitment to developing their Community and look forward to working together and learning from their experience as they pioneer the Home Service project.
