Las Vegas Family Church CheonBo Ceremony at International Peace Education Center

On Saturday, October 9th Las Vegas participated--- by live stream two-way broadcast--- in the International 2020 CheonBo Induction Ceremony. This event was held in the second floor Ballroom of the International Peace Education Center (IPEC).

The Las Vegas’ ceremony followed the pattern of the original broadcast and centered around True Mother and the Celebratory events of that broadcast. Rev. and Mrs. Ken Doo acted as officiators and guided our local event.

Six couples and one single candidate--- who had received the special CheonBo Holy Wine during the CheonBo Blessing Ceremony the previous week---were included in the October 9th Ceremony. During most of the Ceremony, the 2021 Candidates dressed in royal purple CheonBo Holy Robes, were seated in the front rows. Behind them were seven of Las Vegas 2020 CheonBo Couples--- the men wearing suits and gold bowties and the women wearing white dresses. Friends and family members of the Inductees were seated in the remaining rows.

As in the international broadcast, the ceremony began with the presentation of a beautiful basket of flowers to True Parents by the officiators, Rev. and Mrs. Doo.

Next, the Inductees came to the front of the room to receive plaques and shawls. After that, a group photo was taken with Inductees, two of their young adult children holding a large CheonBo Ceremony Banner, Rev. and Mrs. Doo, Rev. Gregg Smith and Dr. and Mrs. Compton flanking True Parents’ chairs and True Parents’ Picture.

After returning to their seats everyone listened attentively while True Mother gave her profound message and enjoyed the inspiring entertainment from the international broadcast. In Las Vegas, after the broadcast ended, a Celebratory cake-cutting by Rev. and Mrs. Doo and the new Inductees brought the official part of the Ceremony to an end.

Following the Ceremony, everyone moved to 8 large round tables--- beautifully decorated with purple tablecloths and yellow-gold centerpieces--- where they shared the celebratory cake with coffee and joyful conversation. The atmosphere throughout the event was festive and the newly inducted CheonBo Couples expressed gratitude for the grace they had received through the CheonBo Ceremony.

Last Saturday October 2nd, there was CheonBo Registration Blessing and Peace Blessing under the supervision of True Mother. 13 Cheon Bo couples and candidates participated from our Las Vegas community. And one couple participated peace blessing and become blessed central family. I would like to congratulate the CheonBo families who have worked hard in the providence activities during past time. now True mother is expecting that the CheonBo families will do a lot more together with True Mother for the safe settlement of Cheon Il Guk.
