FFWPU USA: Additional Information on CheonBo Registration Blessing on Oct. 2
2021-09-23 · Source: tparents.org
Thank you all for your continued efforts for Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ Providence in America.
This is to follow up from our letter of September 20, 2021 regarding the Peace Blessing and the CheonBo Registration Blessing. While an official memo regarding the Blessings scheduled for October 3, 2021 in Korea is being prepared by the International Headquarters, we would like to share some information we received before said memo is released.
We expect the information below to remain in effect, and we prefer to give everyone this notice. However, we will of course notify everyone if anything does change. Here is what we know to date:
1) CheonBo Registration Blessing Ceremony and Peace Blessing Ceremony A. Both will be held concurrently during the 3rd Peace Festival on October 3, 2021 (October 2, 2021 in North America). However, each has a different meaning. B. CheonBo Registration Blessing Ceremony is one of the requirements for the CheonBo Induction. This Registration Blessing Ceremony is for all CheonBo candidate couples who registered for the evaluation process for the 2021 CheonBo Induction, and all CheonBo couples inducted in October 2020, who did not participate in the Blessing in February 2020 in Korea together with their spouse. Anyone in either of these categories should plan to participate in this Blessing Ceremony as couples. C. Peace Blessing Ceremony is a Blessing Ceremony for married couples and those receiving the Single Person Blessing. (Please refer to our September 20, 2021 letter.)
2) CheonBo Holy Wine Ceremony A. At this point, the CheonBo Holy Wine Ceremony is scheduled to be part of the main program on October 3, 2021 (Oct. 2 for NA). B. As of now, the CheonBo Holy Wine Ceremony includes the Special Grace ONLY for CheonBo candidate couples who registered for the evaluation process for the 2021 CheonBo Induction and the CheonBo couples inducted in 2020 that did not participate in this Holy Wine Ceremony in Korea in February 2020 together with their spouse.
3) Holy Wine Ceremony A. This Holy Wine Ceremony is also scheduled to be part of the program during the Peace Festival. B. This Holy Wine Ceremony is for married couples and those receiving the Single Person Blessing. C. This is a regular Holy Wine Ceremony carrying the meaning of changing the blood lineage of the couples. It is NOT the Special Grace.
4) Preparation of the Holy Wine A. All churches hosting the Blessing should prepare enough of the Cheon Il Guk Holy Wine for all participants of both Blessing Ceremonies. This is the Holy Wine received in 2016 with the Four Holy Items. Part of this Holy Wine will be multiplied through a special ceremony to become the CheonBo Holy Wine. B. The details regarding the ceremony of how to change part of this Holy Wine to the CheonBo Holy Wine will be announced soon.
C. Please keep in mind that the Holy Wine offered to CheonBo couples will be the Chenobo Holy Wine and the Holy Wine offered to married couples and those receiving the Single Person Blessing will be the Cheon Il Guk Holy Wine. Please make sure they are not mixed or interchanged.
5) Attire A. CheonBo candidate couples and CheonBo couples: Husband: dark suit, gold bowtie and gold handkerchief, dark formal shoes, white gloves Wife: white dress or formal clothes, tiara, white formal shoes, white gloves B. Married couples and those receiving the Single Person Blessing: Husband: dark suit, purple bowtie and handkerchief, dark formal shoes, white gloves Wife: white dress or white formal attire, veil (tiara), bouquet of flowers, white formal shoes, white gloves
6) Blessing Items Preparation IHQ recommends churches to provide Blessing shawls, gold bowties and gold handkerchiefs, white gloves for both husband and wife for all couples. Bowties and gloves can be purchased by you in bulk per location to ensure everyone has it, or you can ask couples to purchase them, and have a few additional for purchase at the church for those who couldn’t get them. Here are some links for bowties, etc.: Gold Bowtie and Handkerchief set Purple and Gold Bowtie White gloves 1 White glove 2
7) Two-way Streaming We expect churches hosting participants for either of the Blessing Ceremonies to participate in the two-way streaming with the Boda system. We expect the set up to be similar to other events, with the camera showing the audience. More details will be available closer to the event.
We have sent each subregional director and secretary general a list of last year’s CheonBo inductees and this year’s candidates by state to allow for planning of the appropriate locations to host the event on October 2. Please work with your subregional leadership to register your location and to ensure CheonBo couples and CheonBo candidates in your community have a location where they can participate in the Holy Wine Ceremony.
If you have married couples receiving the Blessing or elder singles for the single person Blessing, please report to your subregional leadership as well.
We expect to receive the formal information soon, but we would like to ask all pastors to evaluate the status in your congregation, and be prepared with Holy Wine for multiplication and any needed accessories.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
God Bless you,
