Andrew Compton's Las Vegas Family Church Divine Principle Class Report

On the evening of June 26th, 2018, twelve Las Vegas Family Church members gathered at Cheong Hwa Gung to attend a Divine Principle class. The Divine Principle class is usually held every Tuesday from 7pm to 8:30pm.

The class was led by Rev. Andrew Compton. Family members begun with a word of prayer and then proceeded to sharing the experiences they had during the day and current issues affecting the country.

After the brief sharing, family members quickly turned to their Divine Principle Books. The main topic for the evening was “The Human Fall-Section 1.” They took turns reading the red parts of the Divine Principle Book and Rev. Compton gave an in-depth explanation in between the readings. The session was very interactive since members’ burning questions were answered and proper guidance was given on how to educate fellow brothers and sisters in the workplace, school or at home.

Family members learnt the following major points about the Human Fall from the section they read; first,inorder to liquidate the forces of evil, it is essential for human beings to understand Satan’s identity and how he came to exist, second, the human fall was committed by Lucifer the archangel(symbolized by a serpent ) Adam and Eve and lastly, that Lucifer and Eve committed an illicit sexual relationship and afterwards Eve committed the same illicit sexual relationship with Adam constituting the human fall-the root of sin.

The class ended at 8:15pm with a word of prayer and arrangements for the next class were made. It was agreed that Rev. Doo, LVFC Pastor will lead the next session. Family members left Cheong Hwa Gung with uplifted spirits and looked forward to attending the next class.
