Pastor’s Weekly Greeting Dear Brothers & Sisters,

We are past the Solar New Year 2015 – and looking forward to the start of the 3rd Year of Cheon Il Guk and the 2nd anniversary of Foundation Day. Soon it will be time for couples to receive the Blessing, and I am sure it is the time when True Parents and our Heavenly Parents want all of us to renew our vows; as their children, as husband and wife, and as the ones who can guide the people of the world back to the original homeland.

Good news; True Mother has appointed 3 young leaders. Mari Curry and Miilhan Stephens are new vice-presidents under Dr Baclomb at HQ. And Katarina Connery has become a vice-president for WFWP. Let’s pray for them in as they begin their new missions.

Dr Balcomb mentioned, in a recent conference call, that True Mothers questions to him in Las Vegas were; “Did you talk to people?” and “How many guests came to the program?”

I want to encourage us all to put our Tribal Messiah Binders together (names and contact information) and then to set forth a plan to reach-out to them. As we do so, we can imagine True Mother asking us questions; “How many in your binder did you contact this week?” and “How many of those responded to you in a positive way?”

This is one way I am sure we can make 2015 a great year.

And if you want to do something especially exciting, True Mother is in Hawaii and she is inviting members to come and witness for a week or 2 or 3 (yes sightseeing is included). If you are interested please check your email for more information.

One last point, I just learned that Dr Mija Han’s (our member in WestRock) daughter, Nari Han Miller (married to Godfrey Miller), has stage 4 terminal breast Cancer. Please take some time to pray for her (see prayer requests below)

Blessing & Family Ministry Corner Marriage Blessing: March 3, 2015!

Blessing Travel Grant: True Mother has encouraged couples to make every effort to attend the main Blessing Ceremony in Korea. To make the trip more affordable the National BFM will be offering a special Korea Travel Grant. Check the national BFM website for more information at bfm@familyfed.org

Developing a Committee for Our Local Blessing: WestRock is planning to have a local celebration for our couples who are getting Blessed. We are looking for volunteers to help make it festive and meaningful. If you are interested in helping with decorations, music, or any aspect of the preparation, contact Debby

Level 3 Blessing Workshops: Two will be held in January; one in San Leandro on Jan. 10 – 11, and one at UTS on Jan 24-25th. These are mandatory! And awesome!

Light Thought for the Day Life Expectancy

A recent study published in the journal of common sense medicine revealed that wives who put on a few extra pounds had a longer life expectancy than husbands who ventured to offer remarks regarding their wives putting on a few extra pounds.

Prayer  Nari Han Miller is fighting stage 4 terminal breast cancer. Please pray for her strength and health. She has 2 young children and is now living in Princeton, NJ. Her chemo treatment begins Monday, 1/19/15 Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/supportfornarihanmiller/ has more information.  Jiau-Lan Weinstein – is fighting Lung Cancer
