HERE IN AMERICA:

 Please make an offering towards building the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas. This facility, once completed, will be the central location for Divine Principle education in America. It will also house conferences and meetings to promote peace globally. Our support for this precious educational resource will demonstrate our sincere desire to fulfill the 2020 Motto as ‘true owners of Cheon Il Guk’.

Pastor’s Weekly Greeting Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Merry Christmas! I pray that you had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas day and that you and your family are well and that you can feel God’s love and blessing!

This past weekend Lydia and I had the wonderful fortune to be able to go to Las Vegas to see True Mother and to participate in the District Leaders Meeting. At the meeting, our main discussion centered on becoming active Tribal Messiahs. I was inspired! And in the coming weeks I look forward to sharing that inspiration with you.

As for seeing True Mother – that was the best. Rather than try to describe it – I encourage you to go to www.familyfed.org There you can watch the entire event. (When you click on the tab to view the True Mother’s event, you need move it forward. The program starts about 20 minutes in to the video).

I look forward to our Christmas (and end of year) Service this coming Sunday.

Blessing & Family Ministry Corner

Marriage Blessing: March 3, 2015! Blessing Travel Grant: True Mother has encouraged couples to make every effort to attend the main Blessing Ceremony in Korea. To make the trip more affordable the National BFM will be offering a special Korea Travel Grant. Check the national BFM website for more information at bfm@familyfed.org. Developing a Local Blessing Committee: WestRock is planning to have a local celebration for our couples who are getting Blessed. We are looking for volunteers to help make it festive and meaningful. If you are interested in helping with decorations, music, or any aspect of the preparation, contact Debby.

Level 3 Blessing Workshops: Two will be held in January; one in San Leandro on Jan. 10 – 11, and one at UTS on Jan 24-25th. These are mandatory! And awesome!

Prayer Request  Jiau-Lan Weinstein continues to fight lung cancer.

Christmas Tree At first sight we knew it was the perfect Christmas tree. Tall and full, with no bare spots. Even our grown children were impressed.

 DP Monday night study at the White House: 7:30 pm

 1-Day, DP introductory Seminar: Saturday Jan 17, 2015 Location: White House, Time: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, $20

 ICE SKATING: Jan 1, 2015. 4:30 – 6:00 pm. Invite your friends! Bring $2.50 for skate rental. Location: Ice Skating Academy, 91 Fairview Park Drive, Elmsford NY

 Christmas Service: on the last Sunday of December (28th) we will have a Christmas service. To make it wonderful, we need everyone’s participation (food, ushering, preparation, decorations, entertainment, etc.) Please sign up after service with Rev Compton

 High School Winter Seminar Participant Drop Off: Monday, December 27th - Arrival and Registration by 7 PM

Participant Pick Up: Thursday, January 1st - Pick Up and Check Out by 12 Noon

Workshop Fee: The fee for the workshop will be $140.

The fee for an additional family member will be $120. Cash and checks are accepted. Checks should be made to HSA-UWC. Payment will be collected at the door. Anyone who registers later than Dec. 25th will have to pay a late fee of $15.

 Middle School DP Winter Workshop: We will be holding a 2-Day DP Winter Workshop for middle school kids. Location: White House, Fee: $40 Arrive: 9:30 am, Tuesday, Dec 30. Depart: 5 pm Wed., Dec. 31 Rev Compton will guide the DP Study Wonky Todd will organize and guide the activities Bring: Sleeping bag and whatever is needed for a one night sleep over. Register by email with Rev Compton, (space is limited)

 Cheon Seong Gyeong and Pyeong Hwa Gyeong sets are now available. They can be ordered directly from national HQ or through Rev. Compton.

Dance & Yoga After Service: everyone is invited to join Rose Cho of dancing and yoga after service. It’s great fun and it’s healthy!

Prayer  This week will be the concluding 7 am prayer (21 weeks) at the Central Park Holy Ground. Everyone is invited. HOWEVER PLEASE TAKE NOTE: It will be held on Monday, Dec 29 (instead of Wednesday).
