Special events in Las Vegas this week: a conference for young professionals---the Cranes’ Club-- on the weekend of Dec. 20-21, and a Christmas Party/Banquet on Dec. 21 after Sunday Service with True Mother. Pastor’s Weekly Greeting Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Greetings! Great news – True Mother (wife of Rev Sun Myung Moon) is now in Las Vegas and on Sunday, Dec 21, more than a thousand brothers and sisters will be gathering there to celebrate the Christmas season with her.
Lydia and I will be headed there for a District Leaders’ meeting on Friday and to spend Sunday with True Mother. Saturday is when the young professionals (those who are gathering to initiate the “Crane” club) are going to be meeting. I heard that all the events are now booked to capacity!
This past Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, my wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit our NY Pastors and members in Kingston, Barrytown, Albany, Syracuse, Ithaca, Orange County, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Is, and the Bronx. We also met with John Arias of the Latino Ministry and we met with Pastor Tanya during the FCNYC Christmas party the previous Sunday.
All I can say is that we have a lot of incredible brothers and sisters – who have been through a lot of
ups and downs. Now, we have a great opportunity and I feel that Heaven is looking to see what kind of choices we are going to make. Justin Okamoto gave a sermon (see the link above) on making choices (in contrast to making decisions). Now we have the opportunity to make a great choice – the choice to love our Heavenly parent, the choice to love my family, the choice to love my “family of faith,” and the choice to love this world alongside our True Parents.
I pray that we can feel what a blessing it is to be able to attend our True Mother – and that our hearts can be filled with joy in doing so.
Together, with her, let’s build God’s ideal in our homes and in our community!

Prayer Requests Jiau-Lan Weinstein continues to fight lung cancer.
Laura Nabetani is at home, but continues to have serious health problems.
Please pray that all Westrock families will be happy and healthy this Christmas season and that everyone coming home for the holidays will arrive here safely!
Testimonies/Reports “Today (Wednesday, December 17th) I went to Manhattan to witness. I met Masako Aul and three other Kodan sisters from the New York/ New Jersey area who witness near our 4 West 43rd St. building every Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 1pm.
This week the weather was quite warm so we could meet and talk with people outside---in Bryant Park near the Ice Skating Rink, at Times Square and along 42nd Street. (When it’s cold they go inside Times Square Subway). It was a lot of fun!
I will go again on Wednesday, December 31st. If you want to come, meet me at the White House at 9:30am.”

Middle School DP Winter Workshop: We will be holding a 2-Day DP Winter Workshop for middle school kids. Location: White House, Fee: $40 Arrive: 9:30 am, Tuesday, Dec 30. Depart: 5 pm Wed., Dec. 31 Rev Compton will guide the DP Study Wonky Todd will organize and guide the activities Bring: Sleeping bag and whatever is needed for a one night sleep over.
