Pastor’s Weekly Greeting
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Happy December! This week I asked my wife to give a greeting. God Bless You and your Family, Andrew Compton
Pastor’s Wife’s Greeting Hello Family,
Well, this is something new…I get to write a greeting to you all!
Maybe you would like to hear why my husband asked me to offer this greeting… I don’t really know, but maybe it’s because I always have something to say to him about anything that happens so, for a change, he wants you to have to listen to me instead. So, anyway, here goes…
First, I would especially like to urge you to look at Dr. Balcomb’s Sermon from Sunday. I always find it to be helpful to be in touch with what’s on his mind, as the president of FFWPU-USA, and especially so on the eve of True Mother’s visit to America later this month. I’m sure you too will find it valuable.
Second, As you know, True Mother is especially concerned that we reach out to connect with this world and bring it closer to God’s ideal. In this vein, WFWP is outreaching in our community to find those who have sincere hearts to care for the children in Africa and who can help by attending the Silent Auction this weekend. It’s not too late to make a last minute phone call and invite your friend or co-worker to come with you!
Finally, I hope you will think again about the Peace Education Center in Las Vegas. If we are to build Cheon Il Guk, we need education. Our children need education. And, the people we meet need education. If we have to fly to Korea to receive that education, many will remain ignorant, rather than spend the money it takes to get there. Let’s support this project to the best of our ability, if only for our children’s sake.
I could actually go on…and on…with many of my other thoughts and opinions, but we have plenty of time in the future, so I’ll stop here for now.
In Our Heavenly Parent’s Love Lydia

Testimonies/Reports
A Testimony from Sandy
Just a quick testimony regarding the sermon today:
During the sermon I did not have a contact name come to mind. When I came home I bothered God about a number of issues. I got no specific answers - just overwhelming love and peace and “everything will be alright”.
About sundown I drove my wife to an oriental supermarket. She shopped, I dropped in the car. Looked up and saw my tai chi teacher walking past.
I’ve wanted to witness to him for a while but there’s never time before and after class and somehow I could not get to the few social events the club has. Anyway, standing in the parking lot we had a deeply spiritual discussion which culminated in him accepting an invitation for a dinner and further discussion at a later date. He knows we’re Unificationists.
I can’t say mission accomplished - perhaps mission initiated though.
If you have a testimony or report to share please send it to me.
Light Thought for the Day:
Montreal or Toronto?
I couldn’t decide whether to go to Montreal or Toronto for vacation, so I called the airlines to get prices. “Airfare to Toronto is $300, the cheery salesperson replied.
“And what about Montreal?”
“We have a really great rate to Montreal, $99,” she said. “But, there is a stopover.”
“In Toronto,” she said.
