HERE IN AMERICA:

 There will be a special event in Las Vegas (related to the International Peace Education Center) with True Mother on the weekend of Dec. 20-21. I don’t have all the details, but if you can, please mark this date on your calendar – and do your best to make it possible for you to travel to Las Vegas.  All members are encouraged to make an offering before Dec 20, to support the building of the International Peace Education Center in Las Vegas. Helping to finance this building is one way we, as Americans, can demonstrate to True Mother our sincere commitment to put into practice the 2020 motto – “Let us become true owners.”

AND IN WESTROCK: Divine Principle 1-Day workshop: Saturday, November 15, at the White House, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm Divine Principle Study & Discussion: Mondays, 7:30 - 8:30 pm at the White House.

Pastor’s Weekly Greeting Dear Brothers and Sisters,

First let me say congratulations to all of our 777 Blessing Couples! Happy 44th Anniversary to Masahisa & Yoko Kobayashi, Kiyoshi & Fumiko Seino,and Theodore & Sumie Shimmyo, (and Peter and Phyllis Kim who are in Korea!)!

This coming weekend is going to be a busy one; Friday and Saturday there is the Parents’ Convocation and the Matching Advisor’s Training at Barrytown, Saturday there is the WFWP National Convention in Washington DC, and Saturday evening there is True Mother’s sermon (which will be broadcast and shown at Belvedere at 9 pm).

In addition on Saturday, for those who are able, we will be witnessing in White Plains (for more information on that give me a call).

Finally – we are looking for testimonies that relate to Tribal Messiahship. If you have something to share – about your outreach to relatives or neighbors or home church type activities, please let me know.

Parents Matching Convocation • Oct. 24~26 • UTS

 There will be a National Parents Matching Convocation (PMC) at UTS, New York on October 24~26. The PMC is a great opportunity for parents to understand the Matching Process, learn from those who have matched their children successfully, network with other parents, and consider possible matching candidates. All parents of teenagers 17 and older should try to attend to familiarize and educate themselves about the process and their role and begin developing a family plan for matching their children.  Registration – Save Money by Registering Early! To encourage prompt registration and facilitate planning and organization, participants can save money by registering early. You can pay directly online by credit card:  EARLY BIRD Pay by October 10th: $120/individual; $200/couple; $80 for each additional family member  Pay after October 10th: $150/individual; $240/couple; $90 for each additional family member

Four Part Parenting Series:

 Parenting Your Young Adult Child / October 27, 7-9 pm at the White House, ($10)

The next two programs in the series will be held in November for members only and will focus on preparing for and navigating through, the matching process.

 Jiau-Lan Weinstein (she is in Taiwan – and her situation has grown worse)

 Moses Kiely – 3 years old, grandson of Michael and Maria Kiely, diagnosed with leukemia AND now his daughter Inmay is dealing with a serious heart condition. She was just released from a hospital in Boston and is doing better. Thank you for your prayers..

 Shokichi Tamura is home and doing better. Thank you for your prayers!.

Light Thought for the Day:

Bathroom Exasperation As the lone female in our house, I find that certain male habits have really begun to get on my nerves. One day, I emerged from the bathroom completely exasperated when I bumped into my husband.

“What is it with guys that they won’t replace the toilet paper?!” I raged.

“I know,” he said, nodding in agreement. “I noticed that when I was in there earlier.”
