How incredibly blessed we are to have True Mother with us. There is no one who attended True Father more, who came closer to understanding his heart and will.
On Saturday I was fortunate to be able to sit in on a presentation that Dr Michael Balcomb gave at East Garden. He was speaking to a national conference of leaders representing the major interests of our church (our national council, HQ, District Pastors, UPF, WFWP, Businesses, and others). They are working on goals and a plan of action for our movement – with the focus on accomplishing True Parents directions centered on True Mother. The details will be coming to you soon.
This coming week – we have Rev Sudo speaking at Belvedere (Sat, Aug 17 from 10 am – 1 pm) 40 year anniversary for missionaries who came from Japan and Europe. Wedding Ring After many years, her original wedding ring had become worn and thin, so she asked her husband to buy her a new ring as her anniversary present. But this time she asked him to buy her one with diamonds.
They went down to the jewelry store to pick one out. As they waited for the clerk, she said to her husband, “My eyes aren’t as good as they used to be, so I’d really like diamonds I can see.”
Having overheard their conversation, a customer standing nearby remarked, “Sir, it would be cheaper if you bought her glasses.”

True Mother is in Korea. The 20-20 Providence has begun! We are now in a 100 day period of devotion leading up the anniversary of True Father’s ascension, to share the DP with others – and to inspire them to work with us to build God’s Kingdom! 1 Year Anniversary of True Father’s Seong Hwa will be on Friday August 23. (We are planning to view it by internet Thursday evening Aug 22) We will have a formal celebration at our Sunday Service, Aug 25 at East Garden

Aug 23 is the 1 year anniversary of True Father’s Ascension. There will be a special celebration in Korea on that day. In our community, to honor our True Father, we will be holding a Sunday Service at East Garden on Aug. 25.
