Toby Gullery, our WestRock Youth pastor gave the sermon on Sunday at Belvedere. He shared about how we tend to put up our own walls – between us and Week others. We always have ideas in our heads as to how others view us. “They don’t like me” . or “They are going to think I am strange” or “They don’t think I am cool” or “They don’t Announcements want to talk to me,” and so on. And even though there may be an occasion in which what we think is true, most of the time it is all in our head. The same is true when it comes to our ability to reach out and talk to someone, or hand them an invitation card – we have all kinds of concepts, walls we erect in our heads that prevent us from making, what may be the first step in another person’s journey to God and True Parents.
Today I sent out an email with a survey attached and a letter to drop off at homes in your area. Please take a look – and revise them if you are not comfortable with them as they are. And then, take a moment to think about our Heavenly Parent, and then make it a point to talk to a few people each day, of drop off a few letters. Let’s all make special effort to work with our local church community during this special period – to let the world know that we are here, that True Parents are here.
Finally – I want to remind everyone that there will be a Parents Day program in NJ at the Grove on Saturday July 20 at 3:00 pm. It’s a beautiful place, and it is going to be a really high class event. But we need more nominees. If you know of someone, please prepare a nomination form for them – and get the information in right away. (forms are attached)

Light Thought for the Day:
Spelling Words My husband and I often spell words so that our small children won’t understand what we’re saying. I didn’t realize what a habit this had become until one day when my husband and I were in the grocery store at the soup aisle.
An aggressive young woman banged into our cart, then nudged me over, blocking my access to the soup.
Annoyed, I looked at my husband and said, “Boy, is she r-u-d-e!”
“Yeah,” he replied, “and I’ll bet she can s-p-e-l-l.”
Testimonies/reports
This past Sunday we had our first “Bookmarks for Peace” program. It was fun, and despite the thunderstorms we had 30 members and 5 guests show up at Belvedere. Everyone had a great time, and one of the guests came the next day to study the Divine Principle with us. It’s a small start – but I know those 5 guests would not have come if no one had the courage to say hello and give them a flyer.
Our next step will be to use the bookmarks we made (300 in total) to gain donations for the orphanage in Haiti – and through that to meet many more people who we can invite to participate. Through their participation they will be introduced to our True Parents and the Divine Principle.

The 20-20 Providence has begun! We are now in a 100 day period of devotion leading up the anniversary of True Father’s ascension, to share the DP with others – and to inspire them to work with us to build God’s Kingdom!
o From Saturday June 22 we begin a special 40-Day of Sharing the Blessing! Everyone is invited to make special effort during this time to reach out to others with an invitation to learn more about our movement and the Divine Principle

Camp Sunrise Summer Camps Are Back! That’s right, Camp Sunrise will re-open this summer with a complete program of sleep-over summer camps for elementary, junior high, and high school age children as well as weekly Day Camps.
