My wife and I took this Sunday to visit our church in Syracuse (Jim and Grace Davin) and in Ithica (Chad and Ann Hoover). I am so impressed by those members who have consistently invested their hearts and minds over the years – often without receiving much recognition. They do it because they love God (our Heavenly Parent), they love our True Parents, and they love each other. God Bless all of them. As you know this Thursday will be the big event – Foundation Day. For Metro New York and WestRock we will be at the Double Tree Hotel in Tarrytown. There will also be ceremonies held in Barrytown, in Albany, and in Ithica.
At the Double Tree we will begin at 7:00 pm (although the connection with Korea will start at 8:00 pm). I am sorry that I will not be here. We had planned for all the District Pastors to stay in America to invest here in the local programs, but just a few days ago True Mother asked that we come to Korea. In my place Noah and Kathy Ross, (Noah is our NY Council Chairperson), will be leading the ceremony. Also Bishop Jesse and Tanya Edwards will be here to help with the pre-program.
All I would like to say – is let’s attend this day with a heart of gratitude and resolution – based on our having received the forgiveness and cleansing of the Holy Wine. And let’s stand together, united with one heart, centered on our True Parents – and with them conclude the previous era and move forward into the new era with renewed hearts and with the strength and courage of true love, as the children of our Heavenly Parent.
God Bless You! Andrew Compton

Light Thoughts for the Day
Healthy Place? At the urging of his doctor, Bill moved to Texas. After settling in, he met a neighbor who was also an older man. “Say, is this really a healthy place?” “It sure is,” the man replied. “When I first arrived here I couldn’t say one word. I had hardly any hair on my head. I didn’t have the strength to walk across a room and I had to be lifted out of bed.” “That’s wonderful!” said Bill. “How long have you been here?” “I was born here.”
Testimonies/reports

Quote for the Week Revelations 19:6-9 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah: for the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigneth. Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And it was given unto her that she should array herself in fine linen, bright [and] pure: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.
