I know you are wondering, what is going on with plans for Foundation Day. I hope that . Announcements (from many of you are making plans to go to Korea. True Mother’s desire is that as many the Sunday Bulletin) couples as possible come from America (that is why she approved the reduction in our offering from $1300 to $130.). For those who don’t go to Korea - my proposal to HQ is that we hold our ceremony here on Feb 22 (Friday) in the evening. I have already reserved the Double Tree for that purpose. There is also a possibility that we will join together at the Manhattan Center.

For God’s Day – Sunday, Feb 10, we will have a combination God’s Day Celebration with offering table and Sunday service at the Double Tree Hotel. We will have our usual God’s Day entertainment with prizes – so please let me know if you would like to perform (singing, dancing, poetry, martial arts, … what ever you are good at!).

This coming Sunday, Jan. 6, our first Sunday of 2013, I will be here at the WestRock service. I look forward to seeing you then.

As for news from the NY District –

In Manhattan Rev Andrew Love is leading the Sunday service at 43rd Street. He is working on forming a ministry team. Also in Manhattan a Latino Ministry is about to begin. They have already formed a ministry team and Jose Rafael is going to be the pastor. They will meet at 43rd Street on Sunday afternoons.

The Bronx church has formed its own ministry team and Rev Galvan, the pastor, is once again conducting Sunday service at the Bronx center.

In Queens, Rev Yuji Mizuguchi has decided to move on to something new and the members have chosen John Kung to be their new pastor. They are forming a ministry team and will begin their own Sunday service soon. (By the way, John and Christine Kung were blessed with a grandson, born on 12/12/12)

In Brooklyn they are working on forming a ministry team. On of their first jobs will be to repair their building – getting it ready to become a place that can give new life to new members. They are looking for a pastor, so if you are interested, let me know.

Soon I will be going to visit our church communities in upstate NY. I will let you know how that goes.

Outraged by the high charges that the computer service wanted for repair work, one employee asked her co-worker which service she used.

“My sons,” was the reply. “They both have degrees in Computer Science.”

“So you get that kind of work done for nothing,” the friend marveled.

The co-worker smiled. “Actually, I figured that it cost me about $140,000 for my kids to fix my computer for free.”
