The Area Benefits from Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon

Greetings! I am truly happy to meet you. I am Chun-sik Choi, a member of the Korean National Assembly. Congratulations on the sixty-first anniversary of the deeply respected Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s Holy Wedding. I offer my sincere congratulations for the Ceremony of the Placement of the Ridge Beam on Cheonwon Gung, a place where Rev. and Dr. Moon’s peace ideology dwells, here in beautiful, warm-hearted Gapyeong, which is full of clean air and clear water.

Today, the Cheonwon Gung Ridge Beam Ceremony is an important event for Gapyeong Province. As you know, Seorak used to be a remote town in the middle of nowhere. However, after Rev. Moon and Dr. Moon stepped foot here, the area has gone through a complete metamorphosis with incredible change and transformation.

Back then, Rev. Moon looked out at the town of Seorak and Chung Pyung Lake from Mt. Jangrak, where Cheon Jeon Gung stands today, and prophesied a highway would go here, a hospital would go in that valley, a school and training center would open here, and numerous youth and people from around the world would flock to this place. At the time it seemed like a nonsensical dream, yet today that prophecy is coming true one step at a time. In truth, I could not help but be surprised.

Essentially, Seorak is quickly emerging as a hub of Gapyeong Province, having surpassed a population of ten thousand people last year despite low birth rates and rapid urbanization. This would have been impossible without the deep interest and love of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and the help of the Family Federation. After its completion, Cheonwon Gung, will without a doubt become a landmark in Gapyeong and a proud tourist attraction for South Korea. I am positive it will emerge as a holy ground that expands culture and global peace education as it revitalizes the local economy and as numerous tourists and pilgrims come to this place.

In addition, the Cheon Won Garden Project long envisioned by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon will make Gapyeong and Seorak a world-renowned model peace community. It is not too much to say it will provide infinite inspiration and imagination for Gapyeong Province’s development.

Congratulations once again on the Cheonwon Gung Framework Completion Ceremony. Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon have devoted their entire lives, beginning from the lowest position, for world peace and South Korea’s prosperity, and Cheonwon Gung is filled with their vision for peace and their life’s work. I would also like to thank Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon again for making the Garden of Heaven, Cheonwon Gung, here in Gapyeong Province. I pray Heavenly Parent’s blessing will be with you all today. Thank you!
