“God’s wish for the seven billion people on earth is for them to become one family. The Family Federation must solve the difficulties of humankind at the forefront, and do their best to become a new hope before the world.”

Co-founder of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, Dr. Hak Ja Han implored the participants to take the lead in fulfilling God’s wish for humankind in realizing a community of humankind as one family, at the “Family Federation for World Peace and Unification 2016 New Year’s Greetings,” held at the Cheon Jeong Palace Museum in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do on the 7th.

At the New Year’s Greetings Ceremony this day, 300 people attended, including the International President of the Family Federation Sun Jin Moon, International Vice-President In Sup Park, International President of the Women Federation for World Peace Yeon-Ah Moon, Chairwoman of the Korean Culture Foundation Hoon-Sook Moon, domestic and foreign figures, ministers and providential institution representatives, resolved to do their best in their respective fields.

Dr. Han expressed her sadness in her brief address by saying, “At this moment, the world is going through so much pain and conflict, due to global warming, racial tensions, religious conflicts and boundary issues; and even though many entities have put in much work toward resolve these conflicts, we still experience many difficulties,” and continued, “As much as the work put into solving such problems is in our hopes for ‘Vision 2020,’ I ask for you to not stop there, but to march towards our goal with a determined mind.”

Including a luncheon, the New Year’s Greetings Ceremony on this day began with words of blessings and the sharing of hearts, and proceeded in the order of Japanese President of the Family Federation Eiji Tokuno and Korean Vice-President of the Family Federation Hyeon-Young Lee presenting a bouquet to Dr. Han, a prayer from the Korean President of the Family Federation Kyeung-Seuk Lu, a report on the New Year’s major business plans, and three cheers of Eok Mansei by the General President of the Japanese National Blessed Family General Assembly Yong-Cheon Song. Meanwhile, the Family Federation will be opening a Birthday Ceremony of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han, on the 13th next month, and is to hold the 3rd Anniversary of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day, as well as a Mass International Joint Blessing on the 20th…
