Ilhwa revealed on the 24th that as the first Ginseng producing company in Korea, it has received the certification of the “European Good Manufacturing Practice.”

Ilhwa explained, “By receiving the EU GMP, we are now able to export Ginseng extracts that are produced in the GMP factory in Choon Chun to countries in the EU as a medicine- grade product.”

The GMP is a manufacturing and quality assurance standard for manufactured pharmaceutical products that is operated by certain countries; and pharmaceutical products can only be sold in these certain countries if your company goes through an actual inspection by the health authorities.

Ilhwa said, “We are currently exporting health functional foods to 15 countries in Europe, and with this certification we can now export medical products, allowing us expect a new development in European markets and an increase in sales.”…

Ilhwa’s Ginseng extracts has been certified as a medical product and of course a health functional food, entering the European market.

Ilhwa revealed on the 24th that as the first Ginseng producing company it has received the certification of European EU GMP, a system that certifies the highest standards in production in the world. The GMP is a manufacturing and quality assurance standard that is operated by each country, and medicine products can only be sold in these designated countries if your company goes through an actual inspection by health authorities. Among these, the EU GMP is an approval standard needed for all medical products and ingredients that are imported into the European Union.

In February, Ilhwa previously underwent the German Medicine Authority inspection for the production process of its manufactured medicine product of plant extracts from the production facilities of the GMP factory in Choon Cheon, and received the final suitability decision on the 19th. With the acquisition of the EU GMP, Ilhwa can export the Ginseng extracts that are produced in the GMP factory in Choon Chun to countries in the EU as a medicine-grade product.
