On October 22, Yongpyong Resort revealed that they held the groundbreaking ceremony for thePyeongchang Winter Olympics Athletes Village Apartment Complex to be built in Suhari Daegwanryong, Pyeong Chang, Gangwon.

The Pyeongchang Olympics Athletes Village Apartment Complex is expected to be used as the main athletes’ village for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. It will have 600 rooms. It will be used as a residential housing facility after the Olympics. The leasing will begin in the middle of next month.
