In commemoration of the Third Anniversary of the founder, Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Seonghwa, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification hosted the “Leader’s Briefing Session for the Victory of the Third Anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Seonghwa” at the Convention Hall in the Inter- Burgo Hotel, Taegu on October 18.
On this occasion, Jogye Order of Buddhism Bulguksa Temple Monk Hae-Ju, Gyeong-Sang Province Congressman Yong-Gil Jeong, Daegu Suseong-gu Chairman Jin-Hwan Kim, Daegu Peace Ambassadors President Yong-Hi Yun, Gyeong Bok Peace Ambassadors Chairman Tae-Gun Lee and 500 other prominent figures from the Daegu Province gathered, making it a great success.
Family Federation Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Lu gave the commemorative remarks, “I hope that you leaders of Daegu and Gyeong Bok Provinces can participate in realizing world peace in order to resolve all the problems that humankind is facing today. I hope you inherit the Third Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa commemoration businesses expanded through the Family Federation and the legacy of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind.
President Lu also said, “At this commemorative ceremony for the Third Anniversary of the Seonghwa, Kim Jong-Un, President of North Korea, sent a message of condolence and flowers. This once again assured me of the legacy and sincere devotion of the True Parents for the sake of North and South Korean Unification.”
Tongil Group Chairman Yun-Ki Choi emphasized through his welcoming remarks, “This report meeting was hosted with the hope of inheriting the lifetime legacy and work of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and then spreading the word about the ideology of peace. All the leaders gathered here today bear the responsibility to realize a world of peace without fail.”
Monk Seong Ta gave the condolatory message, “It has been three years since the passing of Rev. Sun Myung Moon, who dedicated his life for the sake of world peace and North and South Korean Unification. Just as the saying, ‘A tiger leaves his skin behind him and a man leaves his name behind,’ after the Seonghwa, Rev. Moon has become a name that no one can ignore, and he has been acknowledged as the world’s giant. Together with Dr. Hak Ja Han, let us determine to be the ones to fulfill the work that Rev. Moon began while on earth.”
The “Leader’s Briefing Session for the Third Anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Seonghwa” will be held in six cities nationwide. It began in Busan and Gyeong Nam region on the 4th continuing into Incheon and Gyeonggi’s south region on the 15th and in the Jungbu region on the 17th. A briefing session on the Gyeonggi south region and the Gangwon region will be held at the Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil, Seoul on the 23rd. President Yoon (former Chairman of the Daegu Art School) mentioned in his condolatory message, “Rev. Sun Myung Moon has been proposing a vision for the sake of world peace during his 93 years on earth, and has worked towards realizing it through concrete activities. As a result, he is already being acknowledged as a peace maker in the world. It hurts that we cannot see him anymore, but now is not the time to be sad. Let us all realize his vision of ‘Creating One Family Under God,’ transcending nations, ideologies and races.”
