Family Federation hosts a Global Worship Service

[Newsis] Family Federation, Following the Commemorative Events of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Third Seonghwa Ceremony…They hosted a Global Worship Service, Bazaar, etc.

The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification is continuing its many commemorative events in light of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s (1920-2012) Third Seonghwa Anniversary.

On October 12, the Family Federation hosted a “Sharing Love Global Worship Service” for the capital area at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium where over 8,000 members gathered.

At the service, Family Federation Korea President Kyeung-Seuk Ryu gave a sermon entitled, “God’s Longing” where he said, “This year marks the third anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa. We organized this event in order to commemorate and share with society the forgiveness, love and spirit of unity which Rev. Moon devoted his entire life to spreading widely. Rev. Moon surmounted barriers of religion, ideology, nation and race, practicing love from the lowest place. He dedicated his life toward realizing a peaceful world. (We must inherit his legacy) and stand as blessed families filled with love and heavenly tribal messiahs filled with hope before the world, to create a Family Federation filled with hope.”

This Global Worship service was the first of a total of four events to be held as part of the “Love Sharing Festival” that the Family Federation is hosting in four regions, dividing the nation’s 230 cities, districts and villages.

The Family Federation will be hosting the “Love Sharing Global Worship Service” at the Bexco Convention Hall in Busan for the Yong Nam Region on October 4, at the Asan Lee Sun-Shin Gymnasium in Chung Nam for the Jung Bu region on October 25 and at the Kim Dae-Jung Convention Center in Gwanju for the Ho Nam region on November 1.

As part of the events commemorating the Third Anniversary of Rev. Moon’s Universal Seonghwa, the Family Federation plans to organize bazaars, fundraise and present rice of love, help out adolescent breadwinners and carry out volunteering activities in affiliated churches and peace cultural centers in 22 church districts nationwide.

In commemorating the Third Anniversary of Rev. Moon’s Universal Seonghwa, the Family Federation has hosted over 20 events. They hosted the “First Sunhak Peace Prize Award Ceremony” proposing a new peaceful civilization fit for the 21st century, the “Peace Road 2015 World Race” where people in 120 nations around the world rode bikes to convey the message of peace, the “World Peace Summit Conference 2015,” “International Academic Conference,” “Dream Seed Music Concert,” “Peace Concert,” “DMZ Peace Walk” and “Unification Hypothesis Presentation Contest.”

On August 30, at the Commemorative Ceremony for the Third Anniversary of Rev. Moon’s Universal Seonghwa held at the Cheongshim Peace World Center in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi, three thousand people from all over the world attended including Kiribati’s President Anote Tong, Indonesia’s Vice President Muhammad Jusuf Kalla and other present and former prominent figures from Korea and abroad. The Chairman of North Korea National Defense Committee, Kim Jong-Un also sent a message of condolence, reaffirming Rev. Moon’s life legacy for the unification of North and South Korea…

On October 12, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification held its “Love Sharing Global Worship Service” at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Jamsil, Seoul.

8,000 members from the capital area participated in this event, which was held to continuously spread Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s peace teachings and neighborly love.

Furthermore, during the next two months until November, they plan to have a Love Sharing Festival, organizing bazaars and rice of love presentations at 230 churches nationwide. …
