On the 5th, it was revealed that the Ilhwa Ginseng Brand “Ginst 15” was awarded first prize in the health foods category at the world-renowned competitive show “Monde Selection.”

Ginst 15 was developed by Ilhwa’s 40-year old ginseng research technology. As a product containing the substance IH-901, it significantly raises the body absorption rate of Ginseng Saponin. Due to these innovative technologies, Ilhwa was also recognized last year as a “New Excellent Technology” (NET) by the Department of Trade and Industry.

Presently, the Ginseng extracts where the New Excellent Technology was applied has been recognized by the Korea Food and Drug Administration as a functional raw material in health functional foods that help the regulation of blood glucose levels. They acquired a patent for it in Korea and in the United States, and have applied for patents in other countries as well.
