Newsis: FFWPU Celebrates 50 Years of Evangelism in Europe in Germany — Yun Ki Choi

Following the success of their event in Austria, the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification held another hallmark event in Germany to celebrate “50 Years of European Evangelism.”

The Family Federation held the “50 Years of European Evangelism” event in Germany on the 14th at the government office building in Limburg an der Lahn, Hessen, Germany.

About 800 members from Germany and other European nations were in attendance at the event. Although the event did not draw as many participants as the Austrian event, held previously on the 10th with a crowd of 2,500 members from Austrian and other European nations, the audience made up for their small size with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Limburg an der Lahn is a small city about an Family Federation for World Peace and hour’s drive away from Frankfurt, Germany’s Unification World President Sun Jin Moon gives largest city, as well as the nation’s center of the special keynote address at the “50 Years of traffic and finance. The Family Federation European Evangelism” celebration event held on decided to hold the event in the smaller city due May 14th at the government office building in to its history steeped in religion. The day’s Limburg an der Lahn, Hessen, Germany events happened to serendipitously fall upon Jesus’ Ascension Day, 40 days after Easter.

The event was also meaningful for FFWPU International President Sun Jin Moon, who made her first international tour since her inauguration in March with this visit, and who gave the official keynote address at the event.

“Through the events of 2015, we have made significant strides towards the fulfillment of Vision 2020,” President Moon began. “In August, we will commemorate three years since Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s

Seonghwa. As we pay our respects to Rev. Moon, let us make a firm determination to move forward as we give absolute attendance to Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. This is how we can carry on the unfinished work of True Father.”

“Before Heavenly Parents, Rev. Sun Myung Moon, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and each and every one of you today, I pledge that I will contribute to this goal,” she continued. “Let us join hands to advance the providence of true victory, complete the mission of Vision 2020 and substantiate Cheon Il Guk upon this earth.”

“After much deep reflection, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon told me the two major goals of this tour,” President Moon continued. “The first goal is to express infinite gratitude to the members of the world for their devotion and contribution to the providence of heaven. The second goal is to outline the direction we must take and lead the way in establishing the substantial Cheon Il Guk longed for by God, through expressing the true love of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon to all of humankind.”

During the event, President Moon outlined a plan for the substantiation of the “Unification Movement” for all of the members of the world.

The plan included seven points. The first and most important point was the attendance of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon as the absolute centers of the Unification Movement. The remaining points were outlined as follows: “The Completion of the Tribal Messiah Movement,” “Becoming a Source of Positive Energy,” “Maintaining the Central Tradition of Hoon Dok Hae,” “Creating a World of True Love Which Extends to All Beings of the Physical World,” “Respecting and Following the Conscience at All Times” and “Maintaining a Deep Faith.”

In regards to the fifth point, “Creating a World of True Love Which Extends to All Beings of the Physical World,” President Moon said that “We must realize that this world does not only belong to humans, but that all living beings and every natural formation on this earth is a substantiation of God. As the sons and daughters of Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, we must care for our environment with the greatest love and care. The earth, the sky, the sea and all living creatures are groaning in agony from the state of destruction we have created for them. We must not only treat each other as brothers and sisters. The time has come for us to also treat all living beings of the earth with true love.

Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s “Victory over Communism” (VOC) Movement was widely supported by both Family Federation members and nonmembers for its views on ending Communism. President Sun Jin Moon’s message may prove just as popular for its universal idea of protecting the environment.

In other news, under President Moon’s guidance, the members of the Family Federation held a silent prayer for the victims of the April 25th earthquake in Nepal.

On April 27th, after hearing of the earthquake, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon ordered for the delivery of 1,000,000 dollars in relief funds to Nepal, and dispatched rescue teams made up of Family Federation members…
