JoongAng Daily: FFWPU’s 50 Years in Europe celebrated in England

In commemoration of “50 Years of European Evangelism Celebration,” a celebration event was held by the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification on May 16th at the Royal National Hotel in the center of London, England to a crowd of about 800 people. Similar events were held on the 10th in Austria and the 14th in Germany.

“After much deep reflection, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon told me the two goals of this tour,” said President Moon in her keynote address. “The first goal is to express infinite gratitude to the members of the world. The second goal is to outline the direction we must take and lead the way in the expansion of true love.”

President Sun Jin Moon especially expressed her gratitude to Henry and April Masters, who donated 500 acres of land and about 20 buildings to the Family Federation after being moved by the work and teachings of Rev. and Dr. Moon. The buildings donated by the couple are currently being used for Family Federation education.

“I would like to sincerely congratulate the Family Federation on 50 years of European evangelism and express my gratitude to Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon for their worldwide movements,” said former UK Parliament member Keith Best in the welcoming address. “The Family Federation has spread the ideals and values of peace to many people over these past 50 years.”

The event began with a representative prayer by Family Federation English Vice President David Oll, followed by the welcoming address by former Parliament member Best, a congratulatory song, a video of the Unification Movement, a video of a speech by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, an introduction of President Moon by Family Federation English President Jack Corley, President Moon’s special keynote address and a performance by the Little Angels performing arts group…
