Donations of Lost and Found Items to Help with Sales… ‘Mega-exhibition of Lost and Found Water Recreation Items to be Held in July’

The Ocean Resort in Yeosu donated about 1,200 items from their water park’s lost and found to “Beautiful Store.”

According to the Ocean Resort, a donation ceremony was held at the plaza in front of the water park with Beautiful Store representatives on the 21st.

The majority of the donations consisted of life jackets, inner tubes, swimming suits, water goggles and other recreational items.

Since 2012, the Ocean Resort has been collecting items from the lost and found, which have passed through the 1-year retention period, and donating them to Beautiful Store.

In June, 2014, they donated about 800 life-jackets, along with about 3,000 swimming suits in March, 2014 and about 200 uniforms in April, 2014.

“I believe that the donation of items to Beautiful Store that would otherwise be destroyed or thrown away is a very meaningful way to support our suffering neighbors,” said the Ocean Resort’s manager and president Jong-Gwan Kim. “I hope that the Ocean Resort can become a company that empathizes with and supports our neighbors in need.”…
